Los Cabos is located at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula and is comprised of two towns: San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The towns are linked by "the Corridor," which is a 20-mile stretch of coast, lined with newer high and low-rise hotels. This Americanized destination primarily caters to singles, couples, and seniors in search of a great golfing experience, among other attractions.
For those who appreciate active nightlife, Cabo San Lucas is the place to go. Meanwhile, San Jose del Cabo is a quiet colonial town that offers a laid-back vacation experience in a traditional Mexican setting. You may also enhance your Los Cabos vacation with one of many day trips, and enjoy activities like whale-watching, desert tours, deep sea fishing, dune buggy tours, and zip-lining. An attraction also worth noting is the El Arco (The Arch), a rocky arch formation in Cabo San Lucas.
Getting Around: Taxis offer the best option for mobility on your Los Cabos vacation. A 20-minute ride will take you from San Jose del Cabo into Los Cabos, at a cost of approximately $25 to $30.
Where to Stay: Los Cabos is a great destination for families, couples, and groups. From the 4-star Royal Solaris to the 5-star Me Cabo, a vacation here promises to be relaxing and memorable.
Weather: During summer, daytime highs can extend into the 32C range, with occasional showers. Winter daytime highs are more comfortable, which average in the high 20s, with evening temperatures that may drop into the 15Cs.

We arrived with a party of 10 to celebrate my 70th birthday. Check in was quick and easy, rooms and resort were clean. All requests were accompanied by the efficient and friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and the views were stunning. The buffet dining had something for everyone and the Al a cart restaurants were amazing. Pools were wonderful with great view of the ocean and beach. Really have no complaints about this resort and would definitely go back again

Verified PurchaserSecrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Very nice resort
It truly is a beautiful resort... with wonderful landscaping and blooming flowers everywhere and adjacent to a golf course. I can see why so many events and weddings are held there (I think there were 4 that happened in the 7 days we were there). The staff are also absolutely fantastic.
The only thing we didn't care for was the main pool music was quite loud and they seemed to play a lot of old 70's 80's music (and not the good stuff) for some reason... so definitely not the typical music you get at resorts in Mexico. As such since we were lucky enough to have been upgraded to the Preferred Club, we spent most of our time at the smaller preferred pool where it was very quiet. If we didn't have this option, we would likely have just hung out at the west end of the main pool (opposite end from the swim-up bar) where it was quieter. Note: there are no chairs on the beach and even beach access is restricted due to the huge waves, so sitting down there isn't an option at this resort.

Verified PurchaserGrand Decameron Los Cabos: Lovely family friendly resort
The Decameron is a small resort. Very intimate but not crowded. The pools provide ample space for all guests, including an adults only pool that is removed from the larger pools. Very clean with updated rooms, beds and bathrooms. The food was very good although the a la carte restaurant is quite small and it could be difficult to get a reservation there. The buffet was very nice with a mixture of Mexican and International foods. The staff is very friendly. It feels like a boutique hotel and although children are welcome it doesn’t have children’s’ activities. It also has a quiet vibe, not a crazy party atmosphere. Very relaxing and intimate. I loved it.

Verified PurchaserRoyal Solaris: ROYAL SOLARIS
The hotel is quite lovely with it's architecture and the fact it is low rise (4-5) floors. Our room was great, quiet, good view of the pool and clean. Food often left something to be desired, luke warm, limited choice/variety. The Mexican "specialty" restaurant was a let down. All taco menu. Staff pretty good.It is a family hotel but I found there were too many kids. Large pool too crowded but the adult only pool was nice. Pool bar could have stayed open longer as one has to go way trhough to the smaller lobby bar which can get crowded.I would not re-bookB

Verified PurchaserSandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Great Resort
Our first trip to Cabo was enjoyable thanks to Sandos! The weather was beautiful and humidity was low. The grounds at the resort were clean, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious! I really liked not having to make dinner reservations for any of the 4 restaurants on site, which helped you to relax and not be on timelines while on vacation. While the beach was nice for whale watching, and being mesmerized by the crashing of the waves, it was not swimmable, or easily walkable for that matter. That being said, there was a beautiful swimmable beach approximately 10 minutes away by foot. The snorkeling there was great too, right off the beach. Our room was small at best, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was super comfortable. Be careful when booking your room though, because not all rooms have a balcony or a patio. Not having an outdoor space available made hanging our wet swimsuits to dry a challenge. This is a unique resort with rooms facing the Pacific Ocean, and others facing the Marina Cabo San Lucas. Our room faced the Marina and we were able to watch yachts and cruise ships coming in each day. Also, the Marina provides much in the way of shopping, restaurants, bars, water taxis and excursions or even just a simple morning walk if this is what you're looking for. Unfortunately, the pool with the swim up bar was not maintained well, and as the week went on it became cloudier, and dirty. Luckily there are 2 other pools to choose from, so it wasnt a big deal. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and we would return again!

Verified PurchaserGrand Decameron Los Cabos: Has Potential
Hotel is definitely NOT a 5star resort. Resort is very very dated. Rooms are small, but sufficient. Each one of the pools requires significant maintenance. Lounge chairs require updating. Food and Bars are not open when advertised, same with the pools. Only the children's pool is open for use first thing in the morning, we needed to wait until 10am for the other side of the main pool. By then it was very warm and you needed to be in the pool.
Staff on the other hand are top notch! Very polite and helpful!
Food, was a hit or a miss. For the most part, if you stick to traditional Mexican food, it was AMAZING! There are lots of food options very close to the resort as well.
Location - AMAZING!!! First time visiting the Western side of Mexico, and I will never visit the East again! Super Safe, amazing locals and snow birds in the area providing recommendations that were authentic and not at all a tourist trap!

Verified PurchaserKrystal Grand Los Cabos: Needs Improvement
The grounds were nice and thank goodness we upgraded to the Altitude Club (not worth what they charged) but at least we could order a la carte for our meals and those meals were good (breakfast and lunch and some dinners were ok)
My friend arrived ahead of me and she was not allowed to check in because I was not there, even though she had the booking information and her name was on the reservation etc. I was dropped off later due to the demonstration at the airport where I waited for 4 hours outside in the sun and blowing dirt to get a ride with ZERO communication from my Air Canada rep ZERO I spoke to him when I first got there and he said it would be about half an hour wait and then I never saw him again.
I finally got to the room and the room itself was nice but we had 2 towels and a shower matt no hand towel ( we finally got that 4 days later) and no face-cloths. The bath towels were tattered and grey, the mini bar was not stocked, no slippers or robes, no snacks. The bed skirt had a big dark smear on it and the vinyl curtains were absolutely filthy. But I will say the bed was comfy!
We had a swim out garden view room and the pool was clear and perfect temperature but needed a vacuum and the in-water loungers were full of mold. Yes I know that is a constant battle but all it would take is to pull them out once a week or 2 and give them a quick scrub. But overall the pool was amazing.
We also had mass confusion as to who our butler was and what his job was let alone where he was located. None of this was communicated upon our arrival(s). We asked the front concierge about making a dinner reservation and he said we had to go to our butler, so we texted our butler and he said he didn't make reservations for dinner. So that was frustrating.
I can't really comment on the buffet as we only went the evening I arrived and it was "ok" but we did go once for lunch for hamburgers and they were great. The Japanese food was FABULOUS! The Mexican restaurant was sub-par (sadly).
The upgrade was NOT worth $750 CDN EACH for the week. But all in all we had a nice relaxing time, the grounds are well laid out and the adults only pool is a nice option.

Verified PurchaserGR Solaris Lighthouse: Decent resort for the price, but food wasn't great
Pros:
- Spacious rooms
- Clean pools and poolside areas
- Great location by the beach (beach is not safe to swim in) and walkable distance to restaurants and city center
- Friendly service
- Not overly crowded (except during high volume seasons)
- Staff did not push for tips
Cons:
- Food was poor quality, even at specialty restaurants (too salty, overcooked/dry)
- Unsure about food safety at pool snack bar due to hot weather (e.g., shellfish)
- Rooms were a bit dated in decor and dusty - noticed dust behind shelves and between sofa cushions, underneath lamp shades, worn out metal fixtures in bathroom, worn out towels, bedsheets were rough in texture
- Extremely difficult to reserve pool chairs near adults only pool

Verified PurchaserRiu Santa Fe: Never again!
We were devastated to find out it was spring break for many colleges from the USA for the entire 2 weeks of our vacation. The resort had no control over the young people who were all drinking to excess. We saw so many sloppy drunks, as the age limit for drinking in Mexico is 18. The youth were 3-4 deep at the bar, making it almost impossible to get served. One boy pulled the fire alarm at 3/00 in the morning so the whole. Building had to evacuate. They were yelling at the pools, in their rooms (where there was more free alcohol) and in the hallways up to 4:00 am.
The food was tasty and there was a good variety but it was never hot.

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Cabo San Lucas: RIU Palace Los Cabos
It was good, just don’t go during US spring break. The hallways were loud and the front desk did nothing to help with this even though we called several times. I wouldn’t recommend this resort at this time of year, even though their website explicitly states “no spring breakers”, this is not true.
This resort is perfect for couples. It’s adults only. We had a weeklong getaway there and just had an awesome time. The place is super spotless clean they are constantly cleaning and shining and just always on top of everything that way the food was awesome. The buffet was in my eyes probably better than any buffet I’ve ever been to on a cruise ship and they have 5 specialty restaurants and you did not need reservations for any of them. The food at all those restaurants was awesome. The only thing is we go to bed pretty early at night and our room was a little too close to the stage area where the shows happen at night but by 10:30 in the evening they were usually all done and it was quiet, so my suggestion would be if you’d like to go to bed early get a room far away from the stage.
We just got out of there in time as the spring breakers were starting to come in lots of them at the Santa Fe

Verified PurchaserVilla Del Palmar Beach Resort: We will be back!!!!
Villa del Palmar was one of the best resorts I have ever been to. It was very clean, and staff were always eager to please. The location was perfect! A 25 minute walk to marina, or town site. Very close to beach, and the waves were calm enough to go swimming without fear of undertow pulling you in. Water is a beautiful torquise colour. No seaweed on beach. They have paddle boarding and kayaking just down the beach free of charge. The excursions were awesome and usually have drinks and food on board. The whales jumping right out of the water was unreal! Never seen anything like it before. Last but not least, the food was exceptional! Ribeye steaks, salmon, shrimp, fresh tasty salads, and the best sandwiches ever! The drinks were NOT watered down. Never had to wait long when requesting a drink or food on beach. I would highly recommend this resort! I would consider this a 5 star resort!

This was our first time at this location. The grounds, pools, restaurants and rooms were all immaculate! The staff are constantly cleaning. The Buffet and à la carte restaurants offered many options and the food was well prepared. The bars and bar tenders were very courteous. The only disappointment was the “snack bar”. It served over cooked frozen hamburger patties and gawd knows what kind of nachos. They could use some improvements there. You cannot swim in the ocean at this location but we knew that before we booked. Overall if you’re looking for a chill vacation this is a wonderful place.Jenn Black is an amazing agent. Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great pools, great food, no family friendly evening entertainment
We really enjoyed Riu Palace as a multigenerational family trip - 2 young kids, parents and grandparents. Quiet, lovely resort with huge pools, excellent food, attentive friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms. Staff were lovely with our young children and very friendly (and patient with us trying to practice Spanish!). *We enjoyed the waterpark (over at Santa Fe) a few times - the small splash area is appropriate for young children, and the larger waterslides are only for >120cm tall (my little one was quite disappointed). Very impressed at the level of supervision from lifeguards.
My only suggestions/comments:
* Swim up rooms include small plunge pool which our children loved but only available for booking to 'adults only' (grandparents stayed here) and not bookable to be close to any other room type so we weren't able to stay very close by which was our original request.
* Evening entertainment mostly involved going over to nearby Riu SanteFe for 'parties' that were not family-friendly at all. One evening was a
'kid friendly' show at 730pm at Palace but was very poorly done with terrible 'mascot' and awkward child-friendly characters. We would have preferred any cultural show or generic show that started before 9pm to enjoy/watch as a family.
* For families or anyone wishing a quieter room, ensure you are NOT near activity pool nor overlooking Santa Fe resort walkways or pools.

Verified PurchaserTesoro Los Cabos: Not the first time but definitely the last.
Let me start by saying I have been going to Cabo for 11 years. While I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel, I also was not very happy with the flight schedule that Tripcentral provided. We ended up with an 11 hour layover in Toronto.
As for the hotel we found their policies to be bizarre. We had booked with breakfast included and they wanted us to wear a wrist band. They had several different colours of wrist band for a number of different options. I have travelled extensively and except for a stay at a remote resort never was asked to wear a piece of plastic. I carried my band in my wallet to use at breakfast only. Secondly, hotels usually ask for your credit card to use for room charges. They did take my card number but when I tried charging a drink to my room, I was told that inly incidentals could be charged. I tried to explain that a drink charge is an incidental but to no avail. At the pool where there is space for only a fraction of the guests they have an unusual system where individual cards are used for towels. Perhaps theft of towels is an issue but I felt like a criminal the way I was monitored. The marina view room was small with a bathroom so small the door couldn’t be opened fully because the toilet was in the way. We tried using the air conditioner but the result was clamy air with a musty smell. Food at breakfast was plentiful but two things you think of with Mexican food, avocado and tomatoes were absent. The coffee was flavourless and the “cream” was really evaporated milk. We found out from a couple that didn’t have the breakfast plan that the cost was $33 US per person. We made the best of our vacation and only used the hotel for sleeping. Sleeping is difficult however as there is the constant barking of sea lions day and night. Hopefully I have said enough to make people take a look at an alternative hotel.

Cafe is a fantastic addition, with varying treats available throughout the day.
The specialty restaurants do not have a reservation system, and honestly that is fine. They would be better off having set seating times than a wait list.

The resort was beautiful and clean. Checking in was easy. The staff were very polite and actually quite amazing. We had a staff member bring our bags to our room and get us ice, he was very pleasant. We had to call to have our coffee and water replenished in our room, I’ve never had to do this. Restaurants were mediocre to good except for the Italian restaurant, it was buffet style and very low grade, we left to eat elsewhere. On our last day I called at 7:00 am for someone to come at 9:30 to get our bags, I was told it wasn’t a problem, I called again shortly after 8:00 am to confirm someone would still come and I was told yes. I called at 9:35am to see if someone was on his way and was put on hold, at this point we had to leave without him as it was almost 9:45am and had to be at the front seat by 10:00 am. At first I had this resort at a 5*, it dropped to a 4.5* and then even less. I’m sure the resort could change a few things to bring it as close as possible
to a 4.5* - 5*
On another note, we met great people, had fun. Would I be back, no.

The hotel was clean in common areas but is in need of a much needed reno. The grounds were very simple but well kept. The pool was missing tiles all over and needs repair. There was 1 main bar in the lobby and 1 by the pool. Only 1 of the bars were open during the day or evening . The Service was friendly in all areas of the hotel. Rooms were veey noisy as walls are paper thin...the room ac was noisy and the beds were uncomfortable and hard. The hotel restaurant needs a new chef that can provide some variety and flavor to the menus. The breakfast buffets were far below average and dinner was far below average food quality and variety. The pool had its own limited menu which was made to order items...nothing special for restaurant and pool food. The pool took away umbrellas for 2 days due to wind...which was something they need to fix so they can stay out and provide shade poolside! I would say the hotel and food would be a 3 out of 10 at the most.

The mattress was incredibly supportive and cozy, allowing for a great night’s sleep after long days of exploring. I was also impressed with the updated washrooms — modern, fresh, and spotless.
The beach was also very clean, with no seaweeds, which made it perfect for relaxing walks along the shore. The ocean was a little wavy during my stay, unfortunately, but still beautiful to enjoy. The food at the hotel was excellent, with a few restaurants to choose from, although even one would have been more than enough because the quality was good. The major areas of the resort were sometimes crowded, but it was always possible to find a quiet spot to relax.
Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant stay, and I would happily return.

Verified PurchaserPueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa: Kinda an all inclusive! But great!
This is a wonder older hotel well maintained and in a fantastic location! You get access to all the resorts, but…. There is a significant service charge for many of the restaurants even just to book! They also have a lot of their better offerings at significant surcharges! Still it’s a la cart menu offerings are very good and the service is excellent! The beach is clean and great for walking but you can’t swim due to the rip tides! Golf is excellent although at almost $400 a round! The transportation between hotels is excellent and you can book a shuttle on line to the Rose and it’s a short walk to downtown! The Market which has food stations is an excellent fun option if you can’t decide what you want!

Verified PurchaserGrand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos: Amazing Resort!
A perfect Anniversary celebration with exquisite dining, unbeatable snorkeling, beautiful architecture and landscape and fantastic attentive staff!
My husband and I and our friends chose the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos to celebrate both our wedding anniversaries and it turned out to be a beautifully memorable trip! The resort's setting is absolutely breathtaking. Perched right on the coast, the views of the Sea of Cortés are stunning. We spent countless hours simply gazing out at the crystal-clear water and dramatic desert landscape. The architecture is beautiful, blending modern elegance with traditional Mexican flair, creating a tranquil and luxurious atmosphere throughout the property. The resort is a stunning backdrop for any special occasion, but it's the combination of exceptional service, exquisite dining, fantastic snorkeling right at the resort beach and incredible natural beauty that truly sets it apart.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The dining experience was flawless-the atmosphere was intimate, the food was exquisite, and the servers were incredibly and consistently thoughtful….whether we tipped them or not.
For us, the absolute highlight was the access to some of the best snorkeling in Los Cabos! The water was crystal clear, and we spent hours exploring the vibrant underwater world. We saw sooo many colourful fish and plenty of schools of fish too, as well as sea turtles and beautiful coral formations. We are also scuba divers and normally only see such vibrance when we are diving.
If you are looking for the perfect blend of romance, fun and adventure for your next milestone celebration, this is the place!
This was the first spa I’ve ever tried out so I have nothing to compare it to but I absolutely loved it! I do get massages on a regular basis at home so I know what a good massage is like and my massage at this spa was spot on perfect! The rest of the spa facility provided a serene escape for a much-needed few hours of relaxation.
On the day before we were to leave, when we got back from diving, Alesha (I think she is one of the resort managers) called our room to talk to me about an issue we had when we first arrived. Her timing was perfect as she was saying that she had somehow been having a hard time getting in contact with us. She was able to arrange a wonderful complementary dinner for the 4 of us at La Bodega as compensation for the issue. This was perfect as we hadn’t tried this restaurant yet and hadn’t planned on it as it was the only restaurant on the resort that was $$$$ extra charge and was the only place we could get lobster (a favorite for 3 of us). The food was fantastic and all the staff were really wonderful to us! They really made us feel special as we celebrated our anniversaries. Then to top things off, there was a lovely romantic gesture waiting for us in our rooms that night (bottle of champagne chilling in a bucket of ice and plate of chocolate covered strawberries).
We can’t help but mention how clean and tidy this resort was. In particular the cleaning staff for our rooms were the best we have ever had! They not only cleaned but kept our stuff neat and tidy…they even folded our clothes if we left anything out on the floor or on the bed or furniture…and no, they weren’t tip motivated as we didn’t leave a tip for them till the end.
We would like to extend our heart felt gratitude and appreciation for the excellent service and hospitality from all members of the Grand Fiesta Americana resort. Literally all the staff members that we interacted with were very attentive to all of us. Also we would like to extend a job well done to the restaurant manager (Richard) and all his restaurant staff. This has been the best restaurant experience from all our historical resort experiences. Congrats on the excellent service and attention to detail.
While we were checking out, the Operations Manager, Martin Flores, came over to us at the front desk to extend his apologies for a rough start but that he hoped things ended on a positive note and they certainly did! The issue at the start of our stay wasn’t really that big of an issue but the fact that they wanted to make things right regardless of the size of the issue spoke volumes.
We look forward to returning next year!

Verified PurchaserRoyal Solaris: Just ok for a 4 star
Nice and small , easy to get around. Clean and pretty as a 4 star should be. Room was a good size but if you tell them to come later to clean because you are busy they never do. 3 star food at best, easy commute into town. Big difference in treatment for those who belong to the elite members club ( club Solaris) and those who don’t. Club members have private pool/ beach chairs and umbrellas( only for them, none provided for non members) +++ Would not go back.

Verified PurchaserGR Solaris Lighthouse: Amazing resort and staff!
Eric, the Food and Beverage Manager gave us peace of mind during our stay. He was professional and introduced us to the chef every evening for supper because of a food allergy. He also put on a Mexican themed dinner and show one evening; it was beautiful! All of the chefs did an amazing job! A big thank you to all the staff who were so accommodating, including the dining room attendants, housekeepers, and the pool and bar staff. We noticed the groundskeepers working in the background at times and they kept the grounds looking so lovely. The front desk staff were helpful to answer any inquiries we had during our stay. We will return to this resort soon!

Verified PurchaserZoetry Casa del Mar Los Cabos: beautiful and ( usually ) quiet resort.
The hotel, grounds, beach area and pools are very nice with some lovely views. We had an ocean front room that was always kept exceptionally clean and had a great view of the ocean. The sound of the waves was very relaxing. Pools were nice and never a problem getting loungers.
There were some weddings at the resort and certain dining options were unavailable being used for a private meal by the wedding party and guests. The influx of guests also made getting a table at the beach restaurant entailed a long wait. No such problems were encountered when they left.
Food was average for the resort. Breakfast at El Arroyo was always good and the staff were excellent. Dinner at Saltwater was hit and miss depending on choices, although it was a lovely place to eat with some live music and a fabulous view. You can also eat at the Dreams resort that is a $5 uber ride away. be sure to try the French restaurant there
This is a very laid back and quiet resort, although construction noise made us move to another area for two days

Verified PurchaserRiu Santa Fe: Riu Santa Fe
This is the one Riu that we will definitely not be back. Food is the worst of all the Riu's we've been to, and we are not picky eaters. Most meats are way over cooked. Staff are Riu's usual wonderful tho. their one redeeming grace. The flies drove me crazy, flying right into my face. there are little tiny ants? flies? (I really can't tell, they're really tiny) by the droves in and around the sinks every morning. and some on the bureau also. also this is the one AI resort that we've been to that doesn't have a lobby bar. only the sports bar is open during the day (24 hrs, like most other Rius), all other bars that's open during the day are by the pool and beach. Sports bar can get REALLY loud. This is definitely not a place to relax. will not be back.

Verified PurchaserMarina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Amazing vacation
First time to Cabo. So glad we chose Marina Fiesta as our resort. Right at the Marina so location is perfect for exploring. Hotel is well kept, staff is very helpful and friendly. There is an on-site spa, 3 pools (1 main pool, 1 adult pool, 1 children's pool) and a beautiful rooftop bar. Rooms are well equipped with a fridge and microwave. Not beachfront, but Medano beach is a short 5 minute walk away.
What makes this hotel unique is the all-inclusive option which is called the "dine-out" pkg. This allows access to 5 off-site restaurants in the golden zone of the Marina. Jacks Steakhouse, Los Doseos (Mexican) , Baha Lobster, Presto (Italian) and Legends sports bar. The service and food was impeccable at each of these restaurants. It was like fine dining every night.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Verified PurchaserHard Rock Hotel Los Cabos: Honest Review of Our Hard Rock Vacation
We recently left a review, but I wanted to share a bit more context about our stay. The resort looked amazing on your website, but many of the features we booked never materialized. Evening activities were nearly non-existent, the all-inclusive alcohol tasted watered-down, and the timeshare presentation felt aggressive and unprofessional—it needs serious improvement if you want to close real customers.
While shopping around, Victoria was particularly pushy about signing us up right away. She kept insisting the deals were changing “at any moment,” which felt like high-pressure sales tactics rather than genuine assistance. We took her information but ultimately booked on our own vacation
Other than those issues, our stay was fine—rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the pool area was great. Still, the disappointments really overshadowed the rest of the experience. We spent $16,000 on this trip, so it’s not a small investment—it’s something we need to discuss as a family, and we hoped for better value and transparency.
We’re sharing this feedback so future guests know what to expect, because right now it feels more like a money grab than a genuine Hard Rock vacation. Given how much we invest in these trips, we’d appreciate your consideration of a goodwill gesture if you hope to keep us as returning customers. Thanks for listening and for any steps you take to make this right.

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Baja California: Just what we needed!
The only downfall of the resort for us was having to go to the family resort next door for activities. We chose adults only and it was promoted that there were white nights, jungle nights etc which we expected to be at our location. Other than that food was fabulous, Sofia (Italian) and Krystal (fusion) were the fave spots for dinner! Staff were great, resort was very clean and we felt very safe in all local areas. Would highly recommend and would definitly return!

A great resort, great food selection. Those that are picky, about food - try cooking 3 meals a day with snacks! There's a pool for everyone to enjoy!
Unforgettable Stay at Riu Santa Fe – Fun, Sun & Exceptional Service!
I recently returned from a weeklong vacation at Riu Santa Fe in Cabo San Lucas, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a cold drink, and a smooth check-in process that set the tone for the entire trip.
The resort itself is massive, beautifully maintained, and buzzing with energy. Whether you're looking to relax by the infinity pool with a stunning view of the Arch, join in the lively pool parties, or just enjoy the gorgeous beach, there’s truly something for everyone. The party vibe is strong here, especially at the foam pool parties and themed night events—perfect for adults looking to have fun.
The food options were great and diverse. With multiple buffet restaurants and specialty dining options (Mexican, Asian, Italian, steakhouse), we never ran out of variety. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with fresh fruit, omelet stations, and even mimosas!
Service was top-notch across the board. Every staff member we encountered—from housekeeping to bartenders to entertainment crew—was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making our stay memorable. Shoutout to the entertainment team for keeping the energy high and the guests engaged without being overbearing.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with daily restocking of the mini fridge and great AC. We had a balcony with an ocean view, which made mornings and sunsets extra special.
If you're looking for a fun, all-inclusive experience in Cabo with great food, unbeatable views, and an energetic atmosphere, Riu Santa Fe is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

Verified PurchaserRiu Santa Fe: Great time at RIU Santa Fe
Had a great time at Riu Santa Fe. The resort is well kept. Rooms are modern and well equipped. Beds were comfortable.
The only complain is that most of the A Lacarte restaurants are buffet style. The steak house is not but you have to line up at 5:00 pm to get a place. I don’t understand why they just don’t take reservations and spare us from standing in the blazing sun for min 45 min.
Otherwise the food was good and in abundance.

Verified PurchaserSecrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Wonderful Resort
We had a wonderful vacation at SecretsPuerto Los Cabo’s. The rooms were a little dated but very comfortable. Mini fridge was restocked daily and room service was awesome. The food at this resort was delicious and plentiful. No reservations necessary for A la carts with the exception of the Japanese restaurant if you want to sit at the grill, however if you want to just get a regular table you can order off the menu. We were there the last week of April so hotel was not at full capacity and we never had to wait for a table at any restaurants. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating but watch out for time share pitches both at the hotel and the airport. We were in a swim up room in the 300 block. This is a large resort and it is built on a hill, so if you have mobility issues request accommodations closer to the main buildings. We really enjoyed the swim up as the main pool could get pretty rowdy. It was nice to retreat to a more quiet space when we wanted to. The swim up with garden view is quite far from main buildings, ocean views swim up is closer. They do offer transportation with golf cart. We often would walk down as it was downhill and then get a ride back because it is uphill. If I was younger it’s not a bad walk but I am a senior so the walk back was sometimes challenging. The beach is very dangerous and the black flag was up the whole week we were there. It is not a swim able beach even at the best of times so if you are a beach person this isn’t for you. There is a wonderful beach bar with swing chairs and lots of lounge chairs with drink service and tiki umbrellas for shade, on the bluff above the beach. We spent a couple of pleasant afternoons there. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was very relaxing. Overall it is a beautiful resort and we enjoyed our visit there.

Cleanliness is an absolute obsession with the staff of this hotel. Food choices were infinite. So many pools and restaurants. Definitely would stay again in the future. Minibar is stocked every second day.
The resort is super clean and the grounds manicured beautifully.
I would recommend this resort and would go back in a second.
Some restaurants are better than others but you can always find great choices at the buffet
The rooms are super clean (mattress was in need of replacing)
The staff is outstanding and always friendly
Dress code should be enforced in the restaurants a couple of knuckleheads wearing muscle shirts was not acceptable. Resort is a little on the loud side, so if your looking for quiet keep looking
Overall a very good value
The Riu Palace Baja California was absolutely wonderful. The grounds are very well kept, the staff were friendly & the resort is very clean. The rooms are big, the bed was comfortable, the fridge was very well stocked & you have a good supply of alcohol in each room.
We had a partial view of the ocean which was worth the upgrade to us. The food exceeded our expectations. The service at all restaurants was top notch. We went to all the restaurants & enjoyed the food very much. We did not get sick either!
Every morning we had the Best coffee’s ,a great way to start our day.
There’s plenty of activities on this resort at the pool side. If you are wanting some wild night entertainment, walk to the other resort. They are all connected & it’s included in your fee. We walked to town a few times & never had any concerns about our safety. Yes people want to sell you things, but if you say no thank you, they walk away.
It was a wonderful adults only resort & we highly recommend it!

Verified PurchaserRoyal Solaris: If you are a Foodie this resort is not for you!
Rating: 3 stars (despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel)
From the moment I checked in I was disappointed! Yes I know it is a 4 rated hotel and I have learned my lesson, nothing less than a 5 star from now on. I would honestly rate this hotel 3 star.
Room: My garden view was actually of a pool and a clay tile roof with garbage and this made the deck unusable which is a huge disappointment. The shower didn't drain so you stood in water the whole time, the sink took minutes to drain and the toilet would randomly bubble and the water was brown. I asked for a room change and no luck they were "full", which is a lie as it was not full at all. I kept calling to have it fixed but it never was, after my 3rd call, I did see dirt marks on the floor so someone did try but it was never resolved.
Food: If you a foodie, this is not the resort for you. I honestly did not have one meal I was thinking "yum I would have that again". Each a la carte restaurant was awful: risotto was bad, sashimi tuna smelled and tasted off, Mexican food was not great. The lunch grill was a long wait as they only had one staff member and guests could not self-serve which was odd. The pizza place line was also long but this one I get as they made them to order.
Entertainment: Well, 4 star do I need to say more....
I will say the resort was clean (except the lounge chairs that were covered in bird crap and could be wiped down each morning by the staff), the beds were comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. For the price, the value was just not there for me.

This resort was barely okay. The best part were the nice staff. Outside of that- its a retirement home. Rooms have zero alcohol drinks and one bottle of water. Clean rooms at least. Food was minimal choice. Linch was the same over and over and over. Dinners were hit and miss. Only one restaurant which was where lunch was. There really was not alot of energy or things to do. Evening was same singers or bingo. I would died of i stayed over a week. You will always find a sum chair because the resort is dead quiet. Aqua exercise only- just nothing really to do. Toilets barely flush. Bathroom soaps and such are lowest quality so bring your own. Soap does not lather.
As I said- staff were amazing and very honest. Due to how cheap the resort is we definitely wont be back.

The hotel is so peaceful and there is always someone cleaning some area of the resort. Each room is well set up with a shower that is outstanding! The variety of a la carte restaurants made the dining experience each evening so much fun. The gym had a good set-up of equipment and we loved the fitness games and activities offered throughout the day. The entertainment was really good but we did get confused as to which stage the special shows were offered on between the 2 Riu resorts. We found the service to be totally amazing -very responsive and willing to go that extra mile to help out. For example, my mom left her special shawl at one restaurant on our last evening. When she called the hotel 2 days later, they found the shawl and it was returned to us. Excellent customer service.

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Will never go again
I will premise this review by saying in general the resort was decent. Rooms are in need of some love but to be expected in an older resort. Food was decent. My biggest problem was the the fact that this resort was over run with spring breakers. The RIU policy says specifically that it does not allow spring breakers. Very untrue. I would say approximatley 70% were and they were obnoxious and drunk and rude. Spoke to the resort customer service and they basically said too bad. You could not even get into the adult pool or the bar associated with it. If RIU is not going to honor their own policy take it off the website. We would have chosen differently if we had known.

Verified PurchaserGR Solaris Lighthouse: Relaxing and safe vacation
The hotel was very clean with very professional and courteous staff. The food choices at the all-inclusive were great and it was nice to have options to book at the 3 onsite restaurants. There were lots of activities both on and off the resort including the popular aquafit in the main pool. The lighthouse sky bar provides an awesome panoramic view around the area and the sushi restaurant shouldn’t be missed (book early). There were two Costco-like stores within walking distance, connected by a pedway. There was an estuary within walking distance and there were miles of beach to walk along and a natural area close by to enjoy. The Thursday evening art walk, accessed by the local bus or a 30-minute walk, shouldn’t be missed. Be very wary of the onsite vacation club solicitation. The freebees they offer are not worth the high pressure sales. This all-inclusive is under new 100% Mexican owned and they are working hard to revitalize the resort.

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Baja California: Great resort , we will be back!
The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate and the pools are really well maintained. The staff are lovely and the service was always fantastic. The room was great and the bed was comfortable as well. The buffet was great and having the lunch spot at the pool was very convenient! We tried few of the the a la carte restaurants as well and we liked them. We would definitely go back !

The resort was very nice, quiet and clean. The food was very good. Although the beachfront rooms are nice, our view was limited and the noise from the kitchen started very early. A good selection of food, entertainment was a little disappointing.

Verified PurchaserGrand Decameron Los Cabos: A Tired Resort
The Decameron is a great place to stay thanks to their wonderful staff. The employees are the best asset the hotel has, as they are all so kind and friendly. The pool is beautiful. There's also a huge, miles-long sandy beach that you can walk on. The only downfall is that the food is mediocre at best. The serving trays are constantly empty and they don't always have plates available. They regularly ran out of things like bread, milk, bacon, eggs, and the line up at the omelet station blocked access to the bacon and eggs. The jam and butter were not with the bread and buns and was frequently not available.
The cleaning staff were thorough and left our room clean but often times were not able to show up until 5pm which was very inconvenient. The liquor available was lower quality and there was only one choice of beer that was not very good.
This was our second time at the Decameron and we were disappointed. We love Cabo and will be back but will definitely choose a different resort.
Clean, very modern, easy to navigate to find places, great party events (at the next building), excellent food/service.
Ample of beach chairs all around. Could not swim in the ocean, so the beach was not utilized. Beautiful view of the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. So close to go into the town for evening entertainment using UBER.
Entertainment was okay at this location. Have to go into the town for real entertainment. Bar services was okay depending on the server.

Verified PurchaserKrystal Grand Los Cabos: Good resot
The hotel itself is fine no issues foof is good service is good staff are attentive and polite at all times rooms are clean as is the resort as a whole. The only issue we had, a party of seven people in four rooms was that there was a clerical error on our booking we had only paid for four rooms, 3 x double occupancy and 1 single at check in which subsequently took almost 2 hours we ended up having to pay the environmental fee on a room we had neither booked or paid for....all in order to balance the hotels records.....not impressed
The grounds were beautifully kept. The larger pools were cold but the swim up pools were warm.
The staff were very attentive and welcoming at the restaurants and bars. The restaurants could have been better quality and the labelling of food on the buffets could have been better. The food on the hot buffet was not hot.
The rooms were modern, clean and large. The balcony was large enough to have a mini clothes rack and table and two chairs - a great way to start and end the day -

Verified PurchaserMarquis Los Cabos: We will definitely be back!
Marquis is beautiful! Incredibly well maintained and the staff is wonderful (shout out to Jose who served us by the pool). Views are beautiful. Lots of whale sightings right on the beach in February! Food and drinks were plentiful and delicious. You won’t want to go anywhere else after staying at the Marquis. 10/10!
This resort was beautiful. My wife and I had a great time there. The service was fantastic. The food delicious. The beach amazing to walk, but not swimmable, danger signs and patrols prevent anyone from swimming. It was beautiful to see family of wales as we walked long the beach. Would definitely go back there.

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful resort
The hotel as usual was beautiful, we had a great room with a beautiful ocean view.
The grounds were very nicely done with beautiful flowers and very clean.
Entertainment was very good and put on wonderful shows.
Dining at the buffet could use some improvement as the food was always the same, not a lot of variety, some of the people cooking need more training as some of the food was not cooked properly, like chicken needs to be cooked thoroughly and some were raw inside the same as with the lobsters they were raw, the grill where the food was being cooked were never cleaned so whatever they were cooking on it would be all black on the outside but raw inside.
Actually one of the managers the night before we left came to talk to us at our table and asked us how they could improve and we told her the same things I just mentioned, hopefully she will convey the message and improve as she said she would

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Baja California: Riu Baja California
Nice hotel. Food and drinks were good. Lack of security at the beach access. Vendors crossed over the rope and bothered us constantly. Lots of theft either from vendors or passersby. Cell phones, shoes. The hotel management didn’t seem to care too much. Also, absolutely no drink service on the beach, even if you wanted to tip. Seemed to concentrate on the pool area. Smoking pits were offered but lots of people smoking wherever and nobody did anything about it. It’s the 2nd time to this resort. Probably the last. Will stay at the palace next time. Too costly for what you get.

Verified PurchaserKrystal Grand Los Cabos: Was ok
Could use some serious tlc. Rooms were big and bright but rough (chairs were stained, couch was stained). Bathroom was big but needs some tlc as well. All of the sit down restaurants had “toddler” size meals so was really disappointed. Buffet was good and had lots of selection. No bottled water other than in room so that was weird. More like a 3* Hotel.

Verified PurchaserRiu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Huge resort. Well done.
The Riu Palace is the flagship of the three Riu resorts in Cabo. We stayed there Jan 9-16. The resort is well staffed and kept very clean. No problem finding a chaise at any time of day. We ate at the main buffet most days. wide selection of foods and well stocked. We tried the Gourmet and Steak a la cartes and were pleased with the quality of food and service. The a la cartes opened earlier than the buffet restaurant and were on a first come basis. The poolside grill was great for day snacks. staff always available around the pool to bring drinks to your spot. The resort held activities poolside and music. We enjoyed the solo musicians in the main bar area. All in all, very nice resort.

Verified PurchaserRiu Santa Fe: Riu never disappoints me !!
Riu is always a 5 star experience. I have been going on vacation for 45 years and have never been disappointed with the riu team. The resorts are very clean and updated. I have always enjoyed the food choices and the quality of food. I have not been to many other resorts but the riu. I went to the riu mazatlan last year for 2 weeks that place needs a upgrade. But I still enjoyed it.

Verified PurchaserSandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Don't stay here
If you are in any way disabled don't stay at this hotel. It's up a very steep hill and there is no free shuttle like they tell you at Trip Central. In January its very cold at night. The restaurants are over a bridge, about a block away from the elevators. A cat meowing kept us up one night and so did the fridge. They told us there were no charges but charged us $20 The maid stole our suntan lotion and capsules that I kept on the table.
