Beaches Turks and Caicos: Beautiful Beach
The grounds were very nice. We stayed in the Caribbean Village Our room was out dated and needed work done to the bathroom. We couldn't even get our bathroom door to close and the bath tub leaked when the water was on. I'm sure other sections of the resort had newer rooms but the Caribbean Village is not a 5 star. The Food was just ok nothing special. They do have a lot for the kids to do. This Resort is over priced for what you get. Been to other 5 star Resorts that are a lot cheaper and better rooms and food.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Beaches...a dream all inclusive family vacation!!!!
Our stay at Beaches was amazing and far exceded our expectations. Everything from our greeting on arrival, the friendly staff, the beautiful grounds, lovely accomodations, our meals, the beach, and the entertainment was over the top. We travelled with our granddaughters, ages 9 and 11, and they didn't stop from our day of arrival to departure, enjoying all the activities, especially the massive water park, and all the beach activities, ie snorkelling, catamaran, kayaking, etc. An experience they will always remember!! We all enjoyed our daily (sometimes twice) stops at Yo-Yo's and the Cafe Paris. One member of our group was celiac, and a couple of trips to the culinary office, all meals were accommodated at all restaurants/buffets. Took a little bit of time to make selections, but well worth it. Thank you to all staff for being most helpful, and a special shout out to Rose Marie at Schooners! We will definitely be back!!!

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Best family vacation ever!
Your staff and entertainment are the best I have ever seen! Especially Devron at Soy and Andrico in the entertainment crew. The singers & dancer made the cost worth every penny! We stayed in the French villlage and the rooms are slightly dated but super clean. Our rooms were keep clean and turn down service was appreciated. Every day we saw people improving the experience at beaches. Maybe time to Reno the pools a bit and rooms. But 10/10 Vacation!

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Not worth the Money
We were extremely underwhelmed with the resort in general, especially after what we paid to be there. We had high expectations as everyone said, a Sandals property is the best, you will want for nothing and love every minute. We decided on this property for all the amenities for kids and families, while still having the opportunity for "luxury" for adults. This was not the case. Our rooms were outdated and dirty outdated furniture in the French village , even in the restaurants was old and dingy. We had several toilet issues, our friends had to clean up toilet water with towels because it continuously overflowed. The service and food selection was the most disappointing. The wait time to get anything was out of this world. On our first full day we were excited to get a yummy burger for lunch with the kids. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for that burger. We were told 30 minutes and went back and had to stand in the restaurant for the additional time on a beautiful sunny day because we were told it was coming. About 15 percent of the service staff at this resort were nice, polite, welcoming, accommodating. The rest were angry, rude and made you feel as if you were bothering them. Quite often just straight up ignored at a swim up bar or coffee place. Our approach was always with polite kindness because of who we are but we also have been in the service industry ourselves, so want to make sure we treat everyone well. Even with our approach being this way, we were met with anger and annoyance. It was extremely difficult waiting to get into restaurants, Most wait times were over an hour to get seated, where some of the nicer, finer dining ones were an hour and 45 minutes to get in. We once tried to be proactive and get on a list knowing it would be an hour 45 minute wait and were told because we were wearing a coverup from the beach they wouldn't even put our name on the list with plenty of time to go get ready. When we returned 45 minutes later, dressed and ready we were then put on an 1 hour 45 minute wait list. We did not spend $10K to eat buffet and not experience yummy food. That said once we understood the ridiculous wait times, 4 days in, we were able to navigate the system. It was very stressful trying to eat and get food. One day, I didn't eat until dinner, after taking care of my son's needs everywhere I went was closed until dinner. One place you can make a reservation is the Hibachi restaurant, this was still a waiting game with a reservation. We had a reservation for 645 and sat for 30 minutes without any service. We had to send the kids to play because they could not sit there. They sat the rest of the table with us and we finally got service. I asked that family when their reservation was and they told me 715. So we were made to wait 30 minutes, with 4 children, because we didn't have a full table??? They should have made our reservation or 715 as well or vice versa if that was the case not sit us and ignore us for 30 minutes. The place is incredibly safe for kids, our kids were able to go to the waterpark and teen/tween areas without any worry from us. Our entire group was very disappointed that the surfing part of the waterpark was down and did not function our entire stay. Nobody told us of this prior to arrival or at check in. We found out from a maintenance person that it had been down for a month and therefore established we would not get an opportunity to use this. We did end up expressing our concerns to the hotel manager, who did her best to make it up by providing us a nice dinner on the beach, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to make me feel like the $10,000 I spent on this resort was worth it. The beach, water and weather were phenomenal but we could have spent a fraction of the price going somewhere else with amazing food and service.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Beautiful beach, average facilities and food
My family and I stayed at Beaches Negril the week of Feb 13/2023. We booked a concierge room with "beachfront views". Upon arrival to our room in the Santa Cruz block we found our "beachfront view" obliterated by a construction site where a new building is being constructed. There is another new building being built at the other end of site property in front of the Montpelier block similarly blocking the ocean views - no where on the Beaches website does it indicate there is any construction going on which I would consider as almost dishonest. One of their nicer restaurants shown on their website, the Venetian, is closed for renovations and instead they allocated a portion of the seating in the buffet area of the Mill for diners wanting to partake of the Venetian menu. Again, not one mention of this on their website. As for the food experience, it is just OK, certainly not 5 star gourmet dining. By way of example, the scallops served on the resort ( had them twice) are the size of the nail on my pinky finger, and the PEI scallops are the smallest I've ever seen served at a restaurant. The beach is beautiful, the pool and kids waterpark is very well done, the grounds are well maintained and most of the people working there are lovely. Overall we had a good time, but this is NOT a 5 star resort as they promote themselves (it's maybe a 3.5 out of 5) - they need to be more truthful about current conditions on the property so people can make informed decisions about booking their vacation.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: So good we went back!
Lovely resort. We went last year and loved it so much we went again this year! We like that tips are included so you dont feel any pressure there. The staff is very friendly and the resort is very clean. There are so many restaurants and pools that neither ever feel busy even though the resort must have been at near capacity. We stayed in the French village for the second time because we liked it a lot. It is quiet and the pool is generally not too busy. The only con is that the stage is right there and plays loud shows until 9:30 every night. Our kids are heavy sleepers so it doesn't faze them. Key West village also seems like a good quiet option. The food there was really good too.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Mcagarrity
We had been there 5 years ago on ground level. Same room this year but on the 5th floor claiming ocean view. Nice taking an elevator every time you leave the room. Joke. You could see the water over the tree. Paid $2200 per night for that. Tried to bill us 400 for internet. Claimed it was an admin mistake. No concierge service for 3 days until we asked for it as it was to be included. Told not to go on the beach at night as it is very dangerous. Had a notice on the bed. Told someone was killed on the beach 2 weeks ago. Very disappointed considering the cost. Only highlight was dealing with the representative Bismark. He was a great advocate. However we were not impressed spending 2 days trying to get the proper room and service. Not sure why you want this feedback. Can’t image getting money back.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: The best
Alright so this is about to be a super lengthy review please brace yourselves ! I love to get into extreme details about every single moment I can remember from the second I land in the airport lol to even thoughts I had before I arrived so here we go. Before choosing Beaches I did extensive research on the most family friendly resort in Jamaica and beaches came up. Between the two diff locations I gravitated mostly towards Negril because as a single mother travelling with a 1.5 year old it appealed to me more. The bus ride from the airport to the hotel was also shorter than the other hotel so I took that into account as well. I also loved that the beach in Negril is more famous and looked amazing from the pics. I mainly chose this resort solely because it’s partnered with Sesame Street, has nannies/kids camp and is geared toward families and small children in general. Literally. I revolved this trip around my son and what would benefit him the most. Even from Canada when I would call to get more info about shuttle service, car seats, strollers on transport etc they were super helpful and reassuring. The only thing that bothered me is the price I paid I found it super expensive and it was half the price in September. I just got back and it’s May. I figured maybe it’s cheaper because September is hurricane season ? And it happened to fall on the week of mother’s day which might have explained the price hike. I didn’t buy the tickets directly from the website although the cost was similar but definitely cheaper booking it through trip advisor. In hindsight I should have booked 2 weeks because to me the money was so worth it in the end and I felt like it ended too soon. Ok so once we reached the airport it was super easy navigating to find the beaches set up area. They informed me that it would cost me a small tip to the people taking my bags so I gave my money to somebody who was there working and he said thanks only to find out it was a different guy taking my bag and he still required a tip. I wondered why the original guy didn’t say “hey I’m not the one getting your bags†since he was the only one around when the lady told me. They said it’s not their business why I gave my money and I still have to pay lol it was pretty petty but I didn’t end up giving the money again out of stubbornness and totally felt bad after because it’s not the mans fault he didn’t get his money just because his other employee wants to be greedy and dishonest he still did the work and a little $5 tip is really nothing but to me it was just the principle. They should tell you exactly who to tip goin forward to avoid confusion. Anyway so I went to the waiting area where there were refreshments and I shrieked out loud when I saw red stripe on tap ! I was in heaven. Like you can actually drink before boarding a bus ? Wait you can even bring beer on the bus ! Canada is way too strict. They even offered more beer outside. They had plenty of free snacks too so I took one of everything for the bus ride. I did end up tipping the driver and some other person who I thought was the original guy who brought out my bags but he informed me it wasn’t him so I still felt bad about the initial mix up. The bus ride was nice loved the music. Good driving. Made stops to eat drink and use the bathroom. So far so good ! By the way I didn’t bother bringing a car seat , the seats are tight anyway for space don’t see how one would even fit. The laws are much looser there it’s just whatever you’re comfortable with. My son was loving being on my lap and looking at the view freely. Now to the arrival. Was warmly greeted and helped to my room - which happened to be at the extreme end of the entire resort. I wasn’t too happy about having to climb up 2 sets of stairs to reach my room knowing I would be doing this multiple times a day with a baby and a stroller. That proved to be a major pain in the butt most days but I was lucky enough to have spontaneous help here and there. Sometimes I resented the walk to the other end but by the end I loved the placement because it was close to stew fish and kids camp anyway. The resort is not very big but it’s just perfect. If it was any bigger it would be more of a hassle in my opinion. My son would sometimes want to climb the stairs and it’s generally safe for a toddler as long as you keep an eye out however on the balcony of the room I could never leave him freely to explore without me there watching closely because there are gaps at the bottom he could potentially slide through. But for the most part the room is pretty baby friendly he never hurt himself once walking around and I had the wooden room don’t know how else to describe it. The room was nice. It was just what we needed. The double beds were nice I would use one bed to put stuff on and the other to sleep (they put a bed rail on one end to prevent the baby from falling since it’s not against the wall) which was super comforting and helpful. Everything was clean. The bathtub was pretty big. I loved the room personally and didn’t have a mosquito problem either like many people have been echoing- never had to get it sprayed once. I understand that the rooms have the ability to adjoin through a connecting door and although it was closed I could hear literally everything the people next door were saying (thank god they would sleep early) because if they were up all night it would definitely affect me. I found generally everything is audible even people outside and that’s because the bathroom window has open shutters and it’s only a screen. But luckily my floor would be dead quiet at night and my son sleeps early so again I’m glad I chose a family resort for this reason. (No disruptive partying or loud music from rooms just families on schedules for the most part). Cleaning service was always good (they spray the room when they’re done cleaning so it literally even smells fresh). Just some days were above and beyond than others. For example some days there was a towel animal others it was just regular. I told a lady once I would leave something for her at the end and she informed me it’s a new cleaning lady everyday. Tipping is not required but if you feel generous keep in mind to leave something small everyday for the different people if you wish. The do not disturb sign works wonders because I wasn’t aware they come to your door and knock first but sometimes let themselves in to give you like a newspaper at a certain time toward night time which threw me off so I started using the sign more when I knew we needed privacy for breast feeding or napping. The fridge and amenities are stocked daily. If you have food in the room you’re done with you can just leave it outside and when they get a chance they will remove it. The channel that’s already on the tv when you turn it on is nice. I didn’t know there is a bar card so go ahead and ask about it because no one will tell you. They can stock your room with champagne and wine courtesy of the resort but you must ask. I have no real complaints about room or room service. They always help when you call the front desk. Some of the cleaning ladies are really sweet friendly cool and nice. Also I never had an issue with my key card. The view was nice too. Only thing that was odd for me was that I was generally really cold so I never needed the AC but all my clothes would seem almost moist because of this. I was told it’s because of the room location. Also laundry services are advertised but the price isn’t so just know it’s $70!! The beach was wonderful. Absolutely no complaints. Except the people selling bracelets can get kind of annoying although the ones advertising boat services don’t directly approach you as much just walk by shouting. Not gonna lie I felt pressured to buy something at least once lol. The beach chairs were for the most part plentiful and all working condition. I had special help on one day from a kind man who’s name I forgot to have a roof over the beds for my son and I. The cabanas seemed nice but a tad pricey for me. Service on the beach would be nice though so you don’t have to keep getting up to go get a drink especially with a toddler but I mean the bar is literally near by. Only problem I found was my stroller not working in the sand. That got very frustrating too. I would recommend a heavy duty safari type one that withstands any climate as I had more of a light weight buggy one. Other than that it was still a good easy choice. But dragging it through the sand had me aggravated although most times nice people would offer to help. I loved the water. It’s quite shallow but great 👠I wasn’t going to go too deep anyway. Very clean. I literally don’t remember any litter. Many lifeguards around. I did not try any of the water sports however I took a glass bottom boat to ricks cafe for $250 USD from one of those people advertising on the beach. Sometimes the chairs would be over crowded but I was cool with it because I had a beach mat anyways. The beach size was just enough and the sunsets were beautiful. The beach was definitely a highlight. The swimming pools are amazing too ! One is smaller than the other but never over crowded. They are extremely clean and love the multiple free beds floating around. Someone was always working hard to clean the pool while everyone was using it which was nice. The swim up bar was cool although sometimes I found it empty when I wanted service with no one there to acknowledge me. The lazy river was cool but maybe needs more of a current to push you forward as I found myself trying to put in the work and the kids water park was nice too just wasn’t my 1.5 year olds preference as the buckets spilling were too powerful for him. Love that they have set kids drinks at the bar. But one thing the swimming pool beds are almost always taken unfortunately except the bigger pool by the mill has a little section with mostly empty chairs. Either that or at the smaller pool you can go high up for more empty beds but I couldn’t really bring my stroller and stuff up there. The restaurants and the food was the personal highlight of my trip. When I first saw the bbq park I was absolutely thrilled !!!!! That’s my kind of joint. That’s when I knew this place was gonna be wicked. Everything I tried from there was amazing and best believe I tried the whole menu. Service varied. Sometimes really good others would forget stuff. The Mexican one next door was delicious too (the enchiladas are to die for). I didn’t like certain things on the menu (like the pulled pork quesadillas, chilled cucumber soup, fish sandwich was ok) but most stuff was good and the nacho bar was cool. Special shout out to Annique for always taking care of my baby and I every time ! Such a sweet heart and paid extra attention to us making us feel special and catered to. Some other servers were good too I just forgot names but she was above and beyond. She also helped us at Stew fish which we went to multiple times for breakfast but never for dinner which I regret. The French toast sticks were my absolute fav!! Loved this place and my son liked the oatmeal and fresh fruits. One night we ordered to go from the kids menu and they even helped bringing it to my room which they didn’t have to. I appreciated that and the food was delicious also. Now onto the mill. I ate here many times and loved various items this place was kind of my go to. Very diverse and rich in selection. Great service too for the most part and was even offered bug spray ! I found to get a lot of bites here. But breakfast was always good - the omelette station was good and so was the man making them very friendly and nice. Loved the fruit selection. Just everything about the food and this resort was top notch to me. I tried the Venetian one night but I did not enjoy the calamari or lasagna. I also found the bocconcini with tomatoes to have too little cheese. But my son liked his little pizza roll. I wish I had time to try more items but my son wasn’t behaving so we had to go. It really is a fancy fine dining spot so make sure you dress up a lot. Good service though. We also missed the Japanese restaurant unfortunately. I would definitely come back just for the food to be honest. And yo-yos was really good too. Oh and how could I forget the pizza station ! This place was awesome. My favourite was the pineapple and ham pizza. I found the jerk chicken one to be too spicy and I wasn’t really feeling the 4 cheese one. Takes a while to get the food though understandably. Ok service there too. I would say overall the service at each restaurant was generally good. Some people stood out more than others and really did go out of their way but everyone does their job at the end of the day. And again I cannot remember some names unfortunately. The cafe de Paris was amazing too - I LOVED the coffee and the crepes but I wasn’t too big on the coffees with liquor in them just the original blue mountain from the side that you get yourself. I ended up buying pictures from the photo shop because how could I resist. Keno was a really good photographer and super nice as well. Another lady working there was awesome too but I forget her name. I found it extremely pricy but bought them anyway. I was happy with them all. Again with the pressure to buy from vendors outside the photo shop and other places at the resort made me uncomfortable at times because I wanna support but don’t want to get their hopes up so sometimes I feel I couldn’t even really look at what they’re selling. Some people had a super easy going approach and it made me want to give them my money. But the ones that point you out and go on and on are the ones where I feel put on the spot. After a while you just don’t want to make eye contact to be honest and feel bad for even walking by. The gift shop had some really nice things. I bought many things from in there. The reception is helpful. I also tried out the massage. I LOVED my lavender full body massage by Natasha she really worked hard on me and I was thrilled with the experience. I also purchased a foot massage. The ladies there were super nice and friendly. I even had a broken nail they gave me glue to fix. Randeno was very informative at the booth where you get the Jamaica pamphlet for all activities and he was very friendly as well. One thing I can say I was not fully happy about was the music. Some days I heard nice songs especially when there was a live DJ and other days I heard a repetition which always included shaggy and then a bunch of songs that are not reggae and dancehall. As a hard core reggae listener I was kind of taken aback when I heard back street boys but I get it that Jamaicans are diverse and listen to music from all walks of life - plus this is a family resort so maybe dancehall doesn’t cut it but I would just prefer to hear only reggae to be honest. I did hear soca which I liked and some days weren’t bad it was getting better toward the end of my vacation but other types of music and songs made me wanna wear ear plugs lol. Especially at some of the restaurants. I would just rather not hear rock or pop or top 40 or country or literally anything that isn’t reggae but that’s just me. And not just shaggy either. But some times I would hear buju and sanchez which put a smile on my face by the pool - plus they had a dancehall/reggae history lesson one day which I really liked also. So it wasn’t a huge deal and not like I didn’t like the music the entire time just sometimes it was annoying that’s all. I could barley make it for the night shows but when I did see it one night I enjoyed the steel pan band. Also the steel pan players on the beach were cool too. Another problem I had was that I arrived on Thursday and no one told me there is a Sesame Street March at 5:30 and it only happens on Thursday’s meaning if I miss it I won’t see it again. So of course I missed it even though I was in my room doing nothing and I just wish someone had just given me a heads up. Matter of fact I didn’t get a tour or anything or welcome of some sort with a description of the activities to do and what not maybe it was on that newspaper but I just arrived so I didn’t know any better or what to look out for. I was really disappointed to miss the march but at least I saw the characters walking around on other days and they interacted with my son which he LOVED. he wasn’t able to pay attention to the night shows at 6 where they perform again so we never got to experience those but I can see how a toddler would love it. The day care was awesome. Left my son 3 times and felt totally comfortable. They never had to call me and were always reassuring when I would call. Very safe and legit. Would highly recommend. He loved playing with all the toys and most kids seemed really happy. That was another highlight for me the fact I could leave him if I chose to. Overall this resort is worth every cent. The food is great. The service is great. And the experience is awesome. Just wear a lot of bug repellent and you’re good. Also do research on the way it’s set up and if you have a baby try to get a ground level room if possible. It’s perfect for families. I had an amazing time.

Beaches Ocho Rios: Dream family vacation
Our family vacation at Beaches was absolutely fantastic. Our only complaint is that we don't know how we will ever go to another all-inclusive again as our experience was incomparable to our other stays at 4 and 5 star resorts. Our children (ages 6 and 8) had the time of their life. The entire resort caters to their entertainment and the staff go out of their way at every encounter to provide exceptional service. The food was wonderful, beaches were beautiful, entertainment fun, rooms were spotless and you never had to wait in line for anything. The kids club was very well managed, and after a few days, we did feel comfortable letting our children roam a bit as the resort was so safe. Truly an exceptional vacation.

Beaches Ocho Rios: Fantastic family vacation!
We had a fantastic time at the Beaches resort at Ochos Rios! Our kids (ages 6, 3 and 1) particularly enjoyed playing at the beach, pirates island water park, the kids club, evening entertainment and endless treats available at the restaurants. The in room babysitting service allowed us to have a few date nights where we could enjoy a relaxing dinner and drinks together as a couple. We particularly enjoyed the food at the Parisian restaurant and Neptune’s. The food was generally very good and there’s great variety available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our room was nice and clean and able to fit all 5 of us. We would obviously have preferred a bigger room with a door separating sleeping areas but that costs quite a bit more. We were out of the room all day anyway having fun, so all good. The service was impeccable during the beginning of our stay when the resort was a bit quieter (any and all requests were catered to including providing us with an iPhone charger, restocking the fridge with beer for my husband and milk for the kids etc.). There’s a lot of staff around the place and always someone to ask if you need anything. We felt very safe and well attended to at all times. The resort was at maximum capacity towards the end of the week and the service got a tiny bit slower, but was still very good. Also, they provide a complimentary photo shoot and you can purchase a print/digital copy package- not cheap (eg. 5 prints, 10 digital pictures and a photo frame for $160 usd), but worth it for the memories. We loved our trip so much we are already planning on going back again once the weather gets bad here at home!

The resort, food, and grounds are wonderful. The staff and management truly care and took care of our family. The pools are clean, lots of towels for the pools and beach. The room was clean, fridge was stocked daily. We could have used more shampoo and conditioner. I should have asked for more. The restaurants were good. There are lots of choices for picky eaters.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Best Family Vacation Ever!
My family and I stayed at Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos. We stayed in the Italian Village and it was amazing. The room was beautiful and clean. The grounds were gorgeous and well kept. The food was so good. We had many different restaurants to choose from and we were never disappointed. Our favorite restaurant was Bare Foot by the Sea and Kimonos. There was always something for the kids to do. They enjoyed the game room, water park and nightly entertainment. The staff was always friendly and made our stay memorable. The best part of our trip was the beautiful white sand and turquoise water. Absolutely breathtaking. This was definitely our dream vacation that exceeded our expectations. Worth every penny:)

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Great servservice
First time at this resort and we had a wonderful experience. The workers are very nice, informative and helpful. The beach was beautiful with green clear water and white sand. Beach and resort are well maintained. The food was exceptional. Too many choices of restaurants we had a hard time deciding on what to eat and I don't mean that in a bad way. Guiseppes, Barefoot by the beach, Bayside, Neptune were some of our favorites. I think for the price the rooms were not all that great. Bit of a renovation will do. No major complaints bit would've preferred a more modern look. Other than that kids had a great time and would definitely consider going back!

One of the best vacations we have ever had! The water park was smaller then the other two locations but service was spot on. We traveled with a 6 year old and he loved Pirate Island and the slides. Kim worked with us from the very beginning and was always available to answer our many questions! We did have to use the medical facilities there and were well cared for. Food was fantastic with lots of great options. We were so happy with the vacation that we rebooked for next year!

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Some great...some just ok
I'll start with check in...room not ready until 3:00 arrived at 2:00 so not such a long wait. Returned at 3:00, still not ready, returned at 3:30 finally ready. Resort knows when you are coming in so room should be ready on arrival. First room assigned... musty smelling mattresses. Requested a new room and moved to a recently renovated room. Manager very responsive to complaint but really should a five star have musty rooms? Also, a five star with double mattresses on queen frames... really?? From here we get to the good... beautiful beach, beautiful/well maintained grounds, excellent food, great staff! We loved the French Village pool and the water park (daughters 5 years and 14 years). Sesame Street characters very accessible and interactive. Great entertainment. Transportation to and from airport efficient.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Great Vacation...
Beautiful grounds and villages...only downside is the kids that is part of Beaches. Wish they had one village for adults only for people who don't want to be around kids. The two adult only restaurant was helpful. There is no Sandals in Turks so why not please "everyone". Not sure why there were no ID bands as anyone can walk in and use the facilities. Not much security but it seemed safe. br /> Food was great and all the help was friendly and accommodating. The Jerk Shack did it for us! The beach and water was amazing. Don't recommend it if you want to get away from kids!

Beaches Ocho Rios: Average resort
Beaches Ocho Rios is an average resort. Beach is extremely small - if you are a beach walker then I do not suggest this resort. Meals were good, however the buffet lacks variety in comparison to other all inclusive resorts, I have been to better resorts that offer a greater variety of food options and quality. Neptunes best choice for dinner. Lunch spots - BBQ, Pizza area overcrowded and food not great. French okay. Italian restaurant was a disappointment. Rooms average, extremely hard bed and pull out sofa had poor mattress. Plus side of this resort, Josephine's crepes and coffees, premium brand alcohol and slides for kids. Overall, average resort. 3.5/5.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Great resort, I would go back.
Staff were outstanding, the biggest highlight was the people. Food above average, took a few days to figure it out but generally happy with the food and drink. Resort aesthetics and upkeep was also very good, n reason to leave the grounds, they had everything there. One bonus was the nurse onsite, my son was quite sick but they made it easy for us to get first level of care without having to deal with insurance etc... My one complaint, the room was nice, no issue with the layout. But the reason we picked the room we did was because of the great kitchen in the pictures. When we got to the resort we found out there is no cooking allowed in the rooms? They didn't even have dishes in the cupboards. We would not have picked that room had we known the kitchen was effectively just filling space. I felt like that had been a total misrepresentation of the room, Beaches corporate should have to be held accountable to that, the staff could not have been better, so it was hard to be angry with them over it.

We had been to this Beaches in the past and have had wonderful experiences. This time however, the staff and management were very unpleasant, grouchy and could care less about te satisfaction of their guests. When you pay around $4000 per person, you at least expect smiles and good service where you're going. The hotel was empty and they still acted like there were overworked and underpaid. Safe to say, we will not be going back. Quite disappointing.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Won't be back
The good part was the entertainment at night was great, they tried hard and did a very good job with the fire show and Michael Jackson show. The beach was nice, ocean was clean and water is warm. The food was good overall, although the wait time to get your meal at Venetian restaurant was a big long. The cons: -We had put in a request for a quiet room on second floor but we got 1st floor and next to a noisy road. -There were only a few restaurants that were air conditioned: Kimono, Venetian and Soy. For a high end hotel we expected the lobby and most restaurants to have air conditioning. -90 percent of the cabanas are for rental only, leaving a lot of people fighting for the tents at 6 a.m. We witnessed people arguing over who got to the tents first. It should be like Beaches Turks&Caicos where there are LOTS of little huts, not just a few reserved ones. -There were sand fleas that bit us once it gets cloudy or when the sun starts to set. In conclusion, we will not come back as we expect more from a high end hotel.

Beaches Ocho Rios: not bad but has changed a lot!
I like staying there, i have been for over 10 years now. However, i noticed the last few times they have the music to loud late in the night. Also night, though i don't mind the locals hanging out in the back "public beach", they have become way to loud and comfortable making it difficult to get some rest. I also think some staff and house keepers in the early morning. Not professional to be talking and caring on so loudly in the hallways or surrounding property first thing in the morning. i found it hard to get sleep at night or if needed, sleep in. They are cool people but they have to realize its a work place with guests and not there personal "yard". I think they need a baby sitter telling them to keep it down a bit lol. other then that the place is nice. But i was disrupted by there loud talking all to often the last couple visits there. If they don't smarten up i will have to stay else were. Thanks :)

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Great resort for kids and parents!
We recently traveled to Beaches Turks and Caicos (Feb 2016) and had an amazing time. The small touches when we first arrived (rum punch and cold towels) started off our vacation to a great start. We stayed in the French Village which was great for us as it was a little quieter for our 2 year old daughter. Yvonne who cleaned our room was wonderful she was very accommodating to us and cleaning our room before our daughter had her afternoon nap. At the start of the trip it took our daughter a little time to settle into the routine and was not eating very much. The Chef at ??? came out and offered to make us anything that she might like. It was a wonderful touch and very appreciative. The room was fine a little aged but was good for what we needed during our stay. Only recommendation is upgrading the mattresses they were not very comfortable. We enjoyed all the different food options on the resort our go to was the buffet in the French Village. Tash the supervisor was wonderful she was very attentive which was great. We also used the Sesame Club a couple of times and the care they gave our daughter overall was very good. We never worried about the care she was given while we were away. Another nice touch so that we couple go out to dinner. The pools were good sometimes too crowded or not enough seats available. We found the French village pool the best option for us. (Butler reserved or other people saving seats was an issue at other pools). The sesame themed breakfast and entertainment was amazing, it was great and entertaining for our daughter. She absolutely loved the characters. Overall we had a wonderful trip, the staff, food, pools and activities made the trip that much better than we could have hoped for. Thank you for helping us make great memories.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Poor safety and dishonest practises.
I believe most parents will agree that the top priority of any trip is to ensure the safety and timely travel to the destination for our children. For this reason the travel providers have failed us on this trip so I will not travel with Westjet, Westjet Travel, and Beaches. Before leaving my wife emailed and called Westjet Travel and Beaches to confirm a car seat for our toddler. When we arrived there was no car seat for a 1.5 hour car race to Nigrel with my baby in my arms. On the ride back to the airport I asked twice for a car seat back to the airport and the folks at Beaches managed to provide a seat only to tell me that I needed to install it in their vehicle as they did not want to take on any insurance claims. When attaching the seat the main anchoring strap was missing so I had to brace the chair the 1.5 hours to the airport so once again no use. We get to the airport only to have Westjet tell us that there is a three hour delay to our flight due to weather in Toronto. The weather in Toronto was sunny and 4 degrees. Nothing wrong with the weather in Toronto. Speaking to the agent at Westjet, I questioned what type of weather issues is causing this delay and he tells me that Westjet just had a later flight planned about a month ago. I purchased my flight only a couple weeks ago so Westjet Travels sold tickets knowing they would not fly at 4:30 and would consolidate to a later flight at 7:30pm. My ticket purchase was with the understanding that I would pay more to get my toddler in at a normal hour. I decided to leave names out as I will provide that to the Ministry of Transportation when I make a formal complaint. I will not go back to Beaches and will not fly Westjet if this is how they want to conduct business.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: top notch all inclusive resort
this is a really big resort. I suggest if you book to look a the pictures and read the reviews. I was in the French villa which seemed old compared to the Italian villa with more modern look to it. In the descriptions, they also love to add the word "honeymoon" which does NOT mean anything. I went there for a honeymoon and they gave us a double bed room which is pretty ironic for a HONEYMOON suite.

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Excellent resort.
This resort is amazing in many aspects and i will try to cover the good and bad. *** Beach *** Amazing. One of the best i've seen. No algaes, very little waves, lots of sand area, clear blue color and clean. The problem is they need more umbrellas. *** Restaurants *** The food is great no matter which restaurants you go to and we tried almost all of them. I ate everything possible and never got sick. The best are Sapodillas and Sky but they are adults only. The Japonese was fun and a great way to meet people. Marios had the best buffet. Jerks had awesome chicken and fish done on bbq. Note that they have lots of sea food available in almost all restaurants. Note: They have a wide range of alcohol, however wine is limited to their house wine (2 red and 2 whites all not good). You can however buy a bottle a the restaurants if you like (~50 to 150) and the list was pretty good. The Turks beer was good (go for lager not light). There's also no lineups or wait time at restaurants. *** Rooms *** Rooms is where i lowered my score but i'll explain why. We originally booked at the Carrabean and the room was very disapointing. For the price you pay they shouldn't even offer such rooms. Noisy A/C and fridge, dark and full of bugs. We had to change. We looked at the Italian area and for a family is perfect. All rooms are the same setup (bonk beds, king and a sofa/bed) and look much more recent. The Key West is the top. It's also the most expensive and furthest but worth while. They still had mosquitoes in them. I must have killed 12 of them overall and still got bitten 15 times. *** Activities *** We didn't do much of them. Actually, there's really nothing for adults, it's all geared toward children and they seem to like them. I think the resort has a deal with Seasame Street cause you see the characters all week long. They have a kids area that looks fun for them. *** Shows *** Shows are bad. Don't bother with them. The only good one was the kid's talent show where they bring kids from the resort and they show their talent. That was fun. The rest are below average compared to other regular resort shows. *** Service *** Service is great. Everytime we've asked for something we got it. It's not super fast but they manage to get back to you and do the best they can to accomodate. *** Safety *** No problems there. Gated hotel and if you leave the grounds you have to sign out with the guard. Not much to do outside the resort though unless you rent a vehicule to go around. *** WiFi *** Horrible. It's an open wifi so anyone can connect without password. Problem is that it's super slow so don't bother at all with it. I found that the best time was before 7am and after 11pm. In between, forget it, you'll just get frustrated. They do have business centre but i didn't look into it so i don't if it's free or you have to pay. *** General Tricks/Advice *** - Bring bugs spray - You can ask for take out if you don't feel like eating out. They give you a decent size box. - If you're low on water, get it at the gym. It's much colder then the ones at the bar. - Tips are frown upon in that resort so be disgreet if you;re going to do it but i haven't seen anyone tip at all and the service will not change either whether you do it or not. - Don't go Carrabean village, pay the extra to stay either at Italian or KeyWest. - Relax and have fun :)

Beaches Turks and Caicos: Best resort we have been to
There are so many tripadvisor reviews there is nothing more I can say, other than to add my vote: this resort is the best we have been to. It cost about 40% more and was 20% better than the next best in our experience. But that may be worth it in that all irritants are removed - no line ups or waiting for dinner, no limits to where you can go on the resort, quick transport from the airport, no long walk to the beach, no shortage of chairs or shade, and so on. We will likely go back - I don't think we can return to other resorts now that we've been to Beaches.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Good resort but not worth the extra money
The beach is great and the resort is focused on children which is great for families. The resort also has many nice extras like free watersports (including scuba diving, water skiing and banana boats), free spa spending (that no one tells you about) and beach/pool towels available without cards. However, the food, the room and the entertainment are not any better than other 4 and 5 resorts that are much cheaper. The a la cart restaurant are actually worse than other resorts. The service and the staff friendliness are not the greatest. I have seen better in Jamaica.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Family loved it!
It was a great vacation. My husband and two children (3 and 5) had a fantastic time and did not want to leave. The kids club is great. I felt safe leaving the kids there with the certified nannies and they had a great time. My husband and I therefore and a few lunches to ourselves which was nice. The people who worked there were very nice and great with the kids. It was a relaxed atmosphere with kids having fun around you. The beach is nice. I did not use the pools, although my kids and husband did. The kids loved the shows. For an all-inclusive, the food was good. It was a great place to go if you have kids. I would not chose to go there if I did not have kids with me though as I thought it was really geared towards them. We go on vacation two or three times a year and my husband said it was one of his best vacations.

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Good time for families
First, the people of Negril are fantastic. So nice and accommodating! The room was great and clean. The pools were ok, not much to write home about. The restaurant on the beach and the Venetian restaurant were fantastic and the grill by the pool with the water slides had amazing fries and jerk chicken!! But the best part, the absolute BEST, part was the beach. Miles and miles of the softest sand and the most incredible water. I'd go back just for that!!
