We are a family of three with two adults and one six year old. This was a smaller resort compared to others we've been to. When you first get there, they check you in and a bell boy helps you with your luggage and takes you to your room in a golf cart. They tell you to meet a staff member in the main resort building for your welcome package. The main resort building felt like a maze and we were 3/4 of the way into our stay, when we finally started to get the hang of where things were. The welcome package was a staff member trying to get you to go to a time share meeting so you can get free discounts on excursions or spa packages. They also try and get you to visit their new resort next door which is currently under construction. We did none of that. We did try and book an excursion through the resort's travel guide but it ended up being expensive. If you can get cheaper rates through your travel agent, I recommend going that route instead. The resort felt like you were immersed in the jungle, with several pockets of natural vegetation throughout. Our room building was set along the outskirts of the resort, with paved pathways lined with native shrubs, trees, and plants. We saw several animals during our walks to and from our room to the main hub, as well as some within the main area of the resort; Coati's, Mexican Raccoons, Iguanas and tinier lizards. There were a lot of Grackles in the pool area that were used to tourists, so you had to really watch your food, because they did not mind flying close to swipe something off your plate. Maybe it's because of how naturalized the resort was, but we did notice fleas jumping on us while we were on the paths between the rooms and the main building, or on the beach. They were never in our rooms though, or inside the main resort building. The beach was okay, but we went in April when the seaweed starts coming in. We learned via a notice at the concierge desk that seaweed season is from April-November, which we hadn't considered before that there would be a "season" for it. Regardless, the beaches were kept fairly clear of seaweed during our stay. They had the tractors clearing out the excess. This resort had a closed off area for swimming in the ocean, but most of our days were spent at the pool, since it was closer to all the food and drinks. They did have servers on the beach that would run from your beach chair to the bar to get you drinks, but they were the same servers running around the pool area, so I can imagine the service wasn't consistent or as quick. We were worried that the pool would be small since it seemed to be the only one available for the whole resort (other than the adults only pool), but it ended up being quite large and never felt too crowded. It also naturally divided between people with families on one end and child-free on the other end, which was closer to the bar and pool activities. The stairs leading into the pool were wide and provided shallow water for kids who weren't swimmers yet. It was nice even for us because our six year old is a swimmer, but we told her if mom or dad aren't in the pool with her, she needs to stay on the stairs which she was happy to do, since she could still play pretend on the deeper steps closer to the pool. Trying to get pool side chairs in the shade meant waking up early. There were a lot of chairs available but not many truly shaded ones, and chairs with a straight view to the pool so you could watch your kids from your chair were also scarce. Everyone seemed to "hold" their chairs with the resort pool towels, but there always ended up being so many chairs with towels and no one showing up, even toward the middle of the day. Resort staff didn't monitor the chairs. There was a splash pad for littles and two waterslides in a separate area, but it was not connected to the main pool, so you had to either plan to be at the waterslide pool or go back and forth between areas. Depending on the ages of your family members, I can see how this might be inconvenient and split members up. We tried booking a Balinese bed for one of the days, but it took quite a bit of effort to find someone who could help. The concierge said to go to the pool desk in the lobby, the pool desk said to find the staff at the towels, but the staff at the towels was not always there. We did finally end up connecting with someone after a few days of trying, but I feel like it should be a lot easier to book. Because the hub with all the food, pools, and activities was at the main resort building, which was in the middle of the resort, we tended to pack up and plan to stay for the day at the pool. It wasn't a quick trip to our room, which was on the outskirts of the hotel. There were buildings with rooms that were closer to the pool area, we just ended up on the outskirts. This wasn't convenient during the day if we forgot to bring something with us. However, it was in the evening when we were walking back to our room so our child could go to sleep, and the noise of the hub kept lessening the closer we got to our building, until all we heard was the breeze and crashing of waves. The room was a nice size for the three of us. We ended up with a king bed and the couch turned into a pull-out. The room was pretty standard in terms of amenities; nice sized tv, stocked fridge, safe, and small seating area. It was a nice surprise to get comfy bathrobes in our room though. Our balcony was close to the path but you couldn't tell because all we saw were trees and other vegetation. There was a family of pretty yellow birds living in one of the trees, who we saw flying around chirping every day. Again, it felt like we were immersed in the jungle. Room service did a great job of housekeeping, except they didn't come the day before we had to leave-I don't know if that's standard or if they just missed us that day. The beginning of our stay was a little inconvenient. We were told by the concierge that they had provided bedding for the pull-out, but it wasn't there when we got to our room. Our daughter slept in the king bed with us the first night which was fine. The next few days I put in two requests through their app, called the housekeeping line and also talked to the concierge for extra bedding because it kept not showing up, even though the app would say the service was completed for example, or the concierge and housekeeping would say they'd get to it right away, and it never showed up. Our daughter slept with us again on the second night, but we finally got the extra bedding on the third night. At one point, housekeeping took all our wash cloths and hand towels, but didn't replenish them. It took two attempts to finally get some back, but only after speaking to someone in person about it, who was actually there to replenish our water. My earring fell down the sink drain at one point during our stay and the maintenance staff was quick to respond and very courteous. The food was okay but nothing to rave about. It seemed most of the food at the buffet was geared toward tourists, rather than providing an authentic Mexican experience. There were a lot of curries at the buffet for some reason. As a Mexican, I was excited to get authentic Mexican food every day, which was my experience at the previous resort we went to, but I had a hard time even finding a good taco. They would have taco type toppings, but sometimes they didn't have tortillas out. When they did have tortillas out, the tortillas didn't seem to be heated up properly, they still seemed rather stiff. This resort seemed to specialize in chilaquiles instead, since the stuff to put them together was always out, including instructions. There weren't any real authentic tacos at the buffet, no authentic soups, no floutas etc., and even the pan dulce only seemed to come out for breakfast. I did end up finding a small taco stand vender inside the main resort building closer to the end of our stay, but he was only there for supper time and only sold tacos al pastor, which can get repetitive for meals. The resort set up a bbq place of some sort near the pool area one time, but they set it up after we had just had lunch, and closed down before supper time. It would have been nice if they had announced what special food they were going to serve and when, or even if they had a sign at the stall about it so we could plan better. This resort had a few snack places like a smoothie bar, and a cafe. They had several themed restaurants. We never had to make a reservation for any of the restaurants, except if you wanted a teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. It seemed that they rotated when one of the restaurants closed for the day. We went to try one of their restaurants for supper and turns out it wasn't going to be open that day, which we found out through the app when we went to check what time it opened. Another time we went to eat at the buffet, and turns out it was closed and turned into another restaurant for that night. Again, we didn't find out until we went to eat and they told us in person. If this was part of the information they gave us at the beginning of our stay, we could plan better so we could make sure to try all the restaurants while we were there. The Mexican restaurant was great though. I got some great authentic food there, but it's not a place the whole family wants to eat at every day, and the restaurants do have a limited menu, so it's the same three main meals every day. The Italian restaurant was really good but the portions were HUGE. We felt so bad because we couldn't finish our pastas, so the remainder was thrown out. Our daughter had a hard time finding something she would like at the Japanese restaurant, but the waiter was fantastic and brought her several plates of salmon sashimi, which she loves but was off menu. There was entertainment nightly and we got to see the magician and the Mexican dancers, but my favorite were the Maya pre-Colombian storytellers in the lobby. Overall, we had a great time, but there were some inconveniences like the location of our room/the beach compared to the location of the food and drinks, the room service debacle, and the lack of authentic Mexican food.

People were very nice...food very mediocre....no bath tub service was very slow pool was freezing Japanese restaurant was very good the kids also really enjoyed the entertainment and dancing at night they went to kids club alot and enjoyed that

Great family resort with exceptional food for an all inclusive. This is an older resort that needs a bit of revamping….new building Indigo is beautiful with large rooms and beautiful ocean views. Make sure your travel agent books the correct room. Preferred club is NOT the new building as had been confirmed prior to our trip. We ended up paying $600.00 US to upgrade. Very dissappointed with travel agent as this was confirmed by email prior to trip! Roof top pool is amazing with staff (Victor, Israel) being very attentive. Would we go back, maybe, if a good sell off popped up but there are so many other resorts in this area to try! Keep up the good work Dreams Sapphire

Friendly staff, excellent food and very clean. The only issue is people placing towels on chairs to reserve their spots on the beach and at pools and not being there most of the day. The a-la-carte restaurants were very good however unless you arrived early because it was open with no reservation required you could wait 1 to 2 hours with a buzzer.

Really liked this hotel. It is definitely a family resort though I went with my fiancé and we wanted to relax, but also have a good time and I guess it was our fault for booking a family resort because there were a lot of kids and young couples with kids, which is why it was kind of dead at night past 11 PM Ish, regardless of that the resort itself was absolutely amazing. The staff was like no other resort I’ve ever been to so accommodating so kind every single one of them goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable and tries to help you the most they can and the property was really clean and beautiful well maintained the restaurants all had really good food so overall the resort experience was amazing if you are looking for something a little bit more quieter With minimal entertainment at night. During the day there’s lots to do.

Stayed at this resort for 11 nights in January 2025. We stayed at the Building #8. The room was clean and well equipped. There is no elevator but it was not an issue for accessing a room on the top (third) floor. Our balcony was facing a next resort's maintenance yard, so we did experience constant noise from coming trucks, staff and delivery. The resort grounds are lovely and well maintained. The beach is as clean as possible as they try their best to remove seaweeds. There are plenty of comfortable palapas and majority of beach chairs have matrasses. Taking a fresh beach towel is not an issue and this hotel does not have a card system for towels exchange. Rooms are cleaned and stocked very well. Water pressure in the shower is good. There are several a la cart restaurants with NO RESERVATIONS policy. We managed to get into a French restaurant. While slow (the dinner took about 1.5 hours), the atmosphere at the restaurant and menu was enjoyable. We tried to get to other restaurants three times with no luck (the wait time varies between 40 min - 1h45min) and did not have any luck. People complained about this inconvenience and we also found it challenging not being able to plan the evening because of undetermined dinner time. The World Café (buffet restaurant) was good. Special notice for hostess who were very friendly and responsive. Food was flavorful with lots of options. Grilled options were our typical choice. Interesting selection of infused waters. Service was good. A couple BBQ/Mexican style dinners were interesting but a little awkward as we felt like wedding guests at the "other party" table. Drinks were good, both cocktails and mocktails. A coffee shop and gelato places were great. We enjoyed shows, especially the fire one. Singers in the lobby was very professional and set the special vacation mood. The Indigo/privilege part of the resort is great. The rooms are new and a balcony view is great. We did not find too much difference in the room décor. Overall, I'd give 4+ out of 5 for this resort.

We went to this resort as it is owned by a very well known international Hotel chain that operates over 60 + resorts in Mexico, Caribbean and Overseas. The stock picture from the Dreams website was impressive, the room that we started with was not even close to reality, we confronted the issue with the front desk and we were graciously upgraded to a new section called Indigo. The initial cost of the Preferred room was not worth the additional cost, and the resort itself is in very sad tired condition. At best I would think that this resort should get a 3 star rating at best, food was average and service was the same and we would never GO BACK.

Our family had a great vacation at Dreams Sapphire. The resort was great on all fronts. The resort is not huge, but there are sufficient restaurants for a week and lots of activities during the day and evening. The food was good and I appreciated not having to make reservations for dinner - the teppanyaki table was the only one that allows reservations and was definitely worth it. Rooms and public areas were very clean. Perhaps the best thing was the staff - they were all very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that people got up early to reserve pool / beach chairs and trying to get towels - they seemed to be in short supply in the mornings. We learned to get fresh ones every afternoon for the next day.

What an amazing resort! Everything was perfect from the staff, the rooms, the service, the activities and the food. I highly recommend Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa for singles or couples. I will definitely go back there!

It is one of the best I have experienced. We were party of 10 and none of us had anything bad to say. Great rooms, clean resort and amenities. There was great selection for food, fewer restaurants than they had listed but still good selection. I would have been nice to experience Mexican a la carte restaurant. Over all I would give 5+. Most staff was friendly, some more the other.

The resort was beautiful. Staff was lovely and accommodating. The food was great. Beach wasn't the greatest, too much seaweed and sharp rocks under foot, small beachfront. Amazing pool that runs across the resort.

I visited this resort back in 2011when it was a Now resort. It was in pristine condition and everything was great. Revisiting 11 years later, while the staff is still fantastic, there is some general repair that doesn't seem to have been done and so the pricing is a little high. While still a great resort with lots of dining options, attentive servers and bar staff, perhaps not to the same standard it used to be. Minor things, our safe had to be repaired 5 times, robes and slippers had to be asked for, cleaning was done so late in the day we just declined it on our last day. Great things is that you could always get chairs and shade on the beach and we were able to get chairs and shade at the pool and adult pool no problem. We would drop a towel on chairs on to the way to breakfast and then go after, so bums in chairs by 930am. However if you slept in your only option was the beach. I would probably not come during seaweed season again as I love to frolic in the ocean, and while you still could it just wasn't as nice. Also, I saw comments about huge line ups for dining and the longest we waited was for dinner one night for maybe 15 minutes, but we sat and had a drink. Otherwise a great trip, a lovely resort, maybe priced a little too high.

Loved this resort. Especially the staff. And the entertainment was outstanding. Not only in the theatre but the music in the lobby and poolside. Food was good, room and grounds nice. Never left the resort during our weeks stay.

I had such an amazing time at the Now Sapphire resort. I do not have any complaints. The staff was so nice, always smiling and happy, no one was aggressive or pressured you to buy anything. The beach was amazing and they did a great job at keeping up the the seaweed. The kayaking included in my stay was awesome and so much fun. The spa was beautiful and very professional. And the food was AMAZING! The staff at the restaurants were so friendly and made me feel very welcomed. Also at night time there was barely any mosquitos or bugs. I LOVED every minute I spent there and I will most definitely return to this resort in the near future.

The public areas, meaning the main floor of the hotel was lovely. The beach beautiful! The pool was too cold. The Mexican people were so lovely. They really aimed to please. We did not like the rooms. They were very plain. We felt the rooms should have been more decadent. The shower was plugged. We complained for three days then got moved to another plain room where the sink was plugged and the coffee maker was broken, but the shower worked. Drank nothing from room frig except water and there was never enough even though request was made for more water to be left.

The hotel was very clean, staff extremely friendly and food excellent. It was a great place to go for a wedding. The surrounding area was beautiful and the locals were very nice. The weather was great, sunny almost every day.

Now Sapphire is a beautiful resort, that we will definitely visit again. The grounds are very nice and well kept. Beach is beautiful! Room was nice, very standard - we stayed in a Tropical View King bedroom. What takes this place to another level is the staff; everyone is amazing, accommodating, and extremely friendly. At the end of the stay, we were asked our favourite employee, and there really are too many to name.

This is a smaller resort with amazing staff. The food is great, the rooms clean and comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily before noon and nightly turn down service provided. We went to the beach each morning and spent later afternoon at the pool. There was lots of activities during the day and nightly entertainment. The favorite staff response is “it is my pleasure”.

grounds were very well taken care of, food was great with lots of variety, service and staff were just great, very helpful .....room was good, lots of room and comfortable, turn down service was much appreciated .......gym was in a great location with the sunrise each morning......

We arrive early and rooms usually aren’t ready until 3pm, by the time we ate they had our room ready before 3pm which was nice. Great service from start to finish, resort was clean and well kept, Crews worked hard to keep the beach clean. Food was very good too, the only thing is they could use more beach loungers.

The grounds were beautiful, well maintained and stunning. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the guests were happy. Food was excellent, at the buffet and alecarte. Definitely would recommend this resort.

Something here for everyone. Good hotel entertainment staff, very engaging with lots of activities and enough to also keep the kids busy. If you would like to have an experience away from the kids, then book a preferred room and you will have access to the adults only pool as well as other great benefits. Food and service was good. Beach is OK, not as clear water as in the pictures but that could have just been the time of year.

I found the resort very comfortable and accommodating. The grounds were maticulously kept. The staff were most welcoming and friendly; attending to all of our requests. A beautiful holiday. The beach areas require some attending. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The Laguna style pool was incredible at this resort- by far my favourite pool at any resort. The food was delicious, there were always attentive staff who even upgraded us to an oceanfront room on our last overnight. Such a lovely experience and wonderful resort.

The staff at the resort were great especially at the preferred pool. The food was good and a good selection for a smaller size resort. The shows were fun and lively and again staff was great . The one warning i have is not to be fooled into going to the VIP presentation . It is high pressure and very misleading

We had an amazing time at Now Sapphire. We had amazing interactions with the staff, good food and the smaller resort size made for an excellent vacation! We attended a wedding at the resort and it was beautiful and well organized.

Small friendly resort with great service. Restaurants excellent with plenty of choices. Preferred club pool a piece of heaven - quite and serene with exceptional service. Main pool very busy and noisy - great for kids. Beach fantastic but seaweed a problem while we were there making access to the ocean impossible. Rooms pretty standard for Mexico. Great for families or couples. Lots of evening entertainment and great main bar area with lots of seating and efficient service.

This hotel was amazing. never had better service like this before. Staff and servers were the best. (a special thank you to Gabriel and Luis from the buffet restaurant and to Jessica who made sure we had plenty of drinks at the pool.)

Second time to this beautiful hotel and it was even better than the first . It’s the staff that makes it really outstanding . Food is really good . Blue water grill for lunch and dinner outstanding . Other a la cartes good too . Drinks good , beach good , pools good . Preferred club ocean front the way to go! Thank you Now Sapphire!!

Best service at a resort hands down!! Immaculately clean at all times and the food is way above average for an all inclusive. I have travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean and can say the Now Sapphire is #1

Have been to this resort 3 times and looking forward to going back again next year. The resort is smaller and lush. The service is excellent .the people are great and the food is good. Have no desire to try a different resort ... mostly because of the people.

Everything about this resort is amazing, from the staff, the room, the beach, the food, the drinks. Your drinks are served to you on the beach by super people. Thank you Jesus and Gabriela for never allowing us to be without a drink. The rooms are cleaned daily, the mini bar replenished, nightly entertainment was good.

Hotel,grounds,food,drinks and staff all great. Hotel and resort very clean highly recommended. I think this is a great deal for the money. Beaches are very nice some seaweed but cleaned up daily. Plenty of towels no deposit necessary

Everything g from the minute we arrived has been top notch, or as Now resorts say "unlimited luxury"! The hotel and grounds are so clean and inviting. The food superb! All staff from gardeners to concierge extremely friendly and pleasant. We have been travelling in Mexico for 40 years and this resort exceeded any other. BTW Jenn Black has been super helpful with us planning our vacation, even with some curveballs we threw her way after booking. We'll use Tripcentral again without hesitation!

We were there for a wedding about 20 guests. The wedding was amazing. The hotel staffs were attentive to our needs. Amazing service from dining, bars, front desk etc. I would recommend to friends and family.

Great staff,great grounds,great food and great selection to choose from and all kinds of drinks and if they don't know give them the recipes and they'll do their best to make it to your taste!!! I will have to go back for sure!!! I feel like they've just spoiled me for any where else that I might consider. They've set the bar very high!!! Oh most of all this place is clean every where even their section of beach more so than the rest of shore line!!!!!

Wow, is all I can say about this resort! The food is amazing, they have a lot of variety of a la carte restaurants. Our favourites were the Cibu (Mediterranean) and the Blue Water Grill (outdoor restaurant and overlooking the beach). The staff are exceptional! They go above and beyond! The pool is huge and clean. The beach is fantastic other than some seaweed but they have staff cleaning it all day everyday! The rooms were very nice, cleaned well everyday and well stocked with pop, beer and lots of water! What makes this resort better than most resorts I have been too are the food and the staff! I would definitely return to this resort!

The Now Sapphire Riveria Maya is an amazing resort. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and kept immaculate. The rooms are great, clean , comfortable and all buildings are close to beach and restaurants. The food was amazing, whether at the different restaurants, the buffet, or the pool lunch bar. I returned and saw old friends, made new ones and cant wait to go back again. The entertainment team was wonderful as well. There is nothing negative i can honestly say about all 3 of my stays at the Now Sapphire.

This is my second visit to this resort and I will be going back for a third. It is very easy to get to everything and because it is smaller you interact more with staff and guests. Great food and the staff can't do enough for you.

We went to now sapphire for 3 nights 4 days and had a great time ! Huge pool and excellent service . Food was good ! Overall my first impression of Mexico was amazing and I would recommend going here to anyone that was looking for a great destination

We stayed at the Now from July 30-Aug 6th and had an incredible week. From the time we checked in to the time we left, I can’t say enough about this resort. Check in was easy and we were greeted a warm smile and cold cocktail. Our room was ready and we were in room 1320. This was a great location; it was close to the main building and not to far from the pool and beach. The room was very quiet and we had a beautiful balcony surrounded by lush trees. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and sleep better on my own, so the hotel quickly ordered another bed for the room, which was an oversized and very comfortable twin bed. We love the fact that the hotel didn’t require wristbands, reservations for the restaurants or towel cards. I read the reviews and expected waits at the restaurants so we went early. We never had to wait long and on the one occasion that we did wait, they provided us with a pager so that we could go for a walk, the wait was only about 20 minutes. We enjoyed all of the dining options, with the favorite being Cibu and the Blue water grill. I’m a vegetarian and had really nice options. My son and husband enjoyed the selection of seafood and meats with the variety always changing. Cocktails were easy to get and if you wanted them a little stronger, this was always provided or you could choose from many delicious choices without alcohol. The service is outstanding, so many amazing team members that go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible experience. A few tips – bring strong sun screen, rent a car and do Tulum on your own. It was safe, easy and you could go at your own pace. We stopped at a Cenote and in Playa del Carmen. I brought snorkel gear but didn’t use it.. I did bring a spring float and this was great as the resort only has a few floats. Get your chairs early in the morning for the best selections. We walked to Puerto Morelos – had an amazing massage on the beach by Sara – I think it was the third massage place down the beach about a minute or two before town. This was the best massage I’ve ever had!! The walk was about 30-40 minutes. We did cab it back for $12.00 Us. Town had nice people, cute shops and is safe to walk to during the day down the beach. We brought pecos, but I would just do US in the future – I was way to confused from CDN and US is excepted everywhere. Enjoy your stay, embrace the people and I hope you enjoy as much as we did!!

Recently went here for a wedding. It was lovely spot and my only complaint would be that the beach is covered in seaweed and ruins that tropical white sand getaway. Food was amazing and most of the frozen drinks were very tasty!

We were treated like royalty and with opened arms. Food, entertainment and staff were excellent. Cleanliness, welcoming and fun. Lots of things to do such as activities and laughter. We would consider going there again.

The Resort was better then the picture. staff friendly, grounds clean. Room out of this world. The hole experience was superb. I would recommend this Resort to everyone to go, for a wedding to just relaxing.

The resort was awesome and food was good need more of variety between lunch and dinner. Service was good. The only complain is the resort couldn't accommodate our large group for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We were always separate in different tables they wouldn't put the tables together. Then one night they had a fire show in the pool which couldn't accommodate all the guest from the resort. They had tables beside the pool but you need to purchase wine which was $40 a bottle to sit I those tables. The shows/entermaintment could be improve.

Pool and bars excellent service very good entertainment poor. Food could have larger variety ran out of seating at one of the dinners our group were scattered all over the place employees did not make an effort to keep the group together

The Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun was amazing! I got Married on April 12th and I couldn't have been a more happier Bride! The resort was stunning with great restaurants and the rooms were so pretty. Grounds were always kept clean and tidy as well as the rooms. The 24h room service is so amazing! Everyone in my huge group had nothing bad to say! I will defiantly be going back! Thanks to all the staff, you guys are Great!!!

I would be hard pressed to find a resort with better staff than this resort. There wasn't a single person we met who worked there who didn't speak better English than we did ourselves, greeted us with a smile, and went out of their way. We are already planning for our return trip, it is our new standard we compare all other resorts against

Staff were friendly. Resort was clean and easy to get around. Enjoyed the buffet & restaurants. Drinks were well made. Loved the abundance of towels. Bed was comfortable. Difficulty getting into shower. Maids were at rooms too early in the mornings. Entertainment was too early in the evenings.

All top notch. Except exorbitant prices at Pevonia Spa. Great location just far enough away from the touristy Cancun buzz. Staff and energy is perfect for all ages. Beach is fine for sports and very long walks! Enjoyed yoga, kids enjoyed the bike ride, water volleyball, archery and we all enjoyed water aerobics and salsa lessons. Food is excellent. Architecture is a true gem. Oh yeah 24hr. Room service is nice for early morning departures. All inclusive including 24hr. Coffee & sweet shop! Try to fit all this in!

The resort is awesome. Staff, especially the entertainment group, were top notch. Food was very good. The buffet on its own would have been good enough. I don't have much experience with all inclusive resorts but I would highly recommend this one.

This place was awesome! Beach, pool, Dylan Mikey, Luis were so much fun and great at getting people to participate on activities like games and volyball...no complaints about anything. Everyone that works there is great!

The resort was exceptional! My friend got married and they were extremely accommodating when the groom got sick on his wedding day. I would recommend this resort anytime! The photographer was my favorite, she rocked! I had a few minor disappointments.... I really wish they had made the effort to clear all the sea weed washed up to shore behind the wedding ceremony setup..... It was not the nicest thing to see behind us in wedding pictures, and it kept getting caught in the bride's lace dress (which would pull on the lace when we removed it, damaging the dress). We also got suckered into one of their sales pitches to become VIP members.... they told us it would be 90 minutes, and we were there for over 3 1/2 hours..... half a day of our 4 night trip WASTED.

This was our 3rd time in the Riviera Maya. We usually stay at bigger resorts in the Tulum area, but wanted to try something different. The airport transfer was nice and quick. The grounds were beautiful and we loved that we didn't have to walk far to get to anything. The small resort meant that we got to know the staff better. We loved Moises in the Market buffet. Breakfast will never be the same without him. Also Nancy's smiling face as she greeted us. We loved the food and location of the Blue Water Grill. Mauricio was amazing. Ask him for a coconut mojito. The Preferred club was worth it. Having wi-if throughout the resort and our own private adult pool was lovely. Booking an ocean view room online doesn't seem to be an option. The resort was quite full while we were there, so we could upgrade at a price. There is a little bargaining room, but the upgrade price seemed high. That being said, we did splurge and were so happy we did. You truly are almost at the ocean. We used our balcony a lot. A few downsides....really expensive to get out of the resort. They should offer a shuttle to the highway to cut down on the taxi costs. They also concentrate on weddings. We saw 3 a day. In s small resort that is a lot. At night there wasn't any peaceful place to hang out, although they were shut down by 11:00. Lots of talk about the seaweed on the beach. They work so hard to get rid of it. The beaches further down are nicer. We did swim, but beach walking was a challenge.

My family and I just got back from Now Sapphire and had a great time. My daughters are 6 and 12 and neither can wait to go back again. We went on March break and found lots to do. Pool area was large enough so everyone had their own space, but lively enough to feel a part of the fun. Restaurants were wonderful... Buffet was perfect for breakfast or a lunch out of the sun. A fabulous room service breakfast was available even at 5am when we had to catch a shuttle to go home. The entertainment staff was great and though I never thought I would, I completely trusted the fabulous kid's club staff who welcomed my girls for a bit each day. Service at restaurants and at the pool was exceptional. All staff worked VERY hard to make sure we all enjoyed our stay. The evening movies by the pool were a big hit for the girls. The tennis lessons were wonderful, daily Zumba and pool volleyball were memorable to say the least. Rooms were very large and comfortable. Having cold water and pop restalked in mini fridge each day was great! We arrived at 11 am and room was ready for us to enjoy the entire day.My only complaint was the Beach. Nice to look at, but a crazy amount of seaweed made it a no go for my girls to enjoy. Snorkeling.... Forget about it! We did understand that this was a strange year for the amount of seaweed and staff sure did try their best to get rid of it off the beach, but couldn't control how much was all along the coast! Only 20 minutes from airport. It was an expensive holiday but....We would return again for sure!!

We just returned from a wonderful 7 days at Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun. Our room was close to the beach and we always were able to access beach chairs. Elidio our waiter for the beach bar was awesome. He is clearly one of the greatest assets to this resort. He has personality plus and a great sense of humor. We looked forward to seeing him every day as that is where we spent the majority of our time (from dawn til dusk). He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Thanks Elidio!!!! We would also like to acknowledge the superior service we received at the Lobby Bar from the following guys: Filiberto,Alejandro,Jesus,Manrique and Pedro. You guys rock!!!! Also, we would like to compliment the entertainment staff especially Omar, Miguel ( #1) and Louis. Thanks for the bike tours, beach volleyball and water aerobics! The overall atmosphere and quality of service from all the staff was superior. We would definitely recommend this resort.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sapphire, one of the best resort we've been at! The staff can't do enough for you and always with a smile, the food was great also and the resort is kept so clean! Beautiful beach, awesome people, great entertainment and food....we'll be back I'm sure!

Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.) Great hotel, staff very kind and helpful. Lacks more live music at night. People danced when there was a live band playing, but this was only twice. We missed more latin music to dance every night. There was not much to do after a few shows other than a club with very loud music and for much younger crowd even though most of the guests were older. This hotel needs to have live latin music every night like most resorts in the Caribbean where we are also taught how to dance at the beginning. I was also hoping to have some snacks, fruits, tea, coffee, juices, etc some where in the lobby when restaurants were closed. If we were hungry after restaurants closed, we had to get room service and they were usually very busy and it took long time to get the food. When it is late most people want just a snack, and the worse, we couldn't have any hot beverage after athe cafeteria closed (tea, coffee, herbal tea) for the ones that don't want to drink alcohol or had enough alcohol beverages. I really miss this and it is quite simple to make it available. Also, the beach must be cleaned in a more efficient way to offer a nicer beach. But overall, it is a great place to spent a week and I recommend it regardless. I suggest to be very careful with the people offering tours because somehow they will also offer time share and take your time.

The grounds were pretty nice, some pool tiles coming loose , but still good. Food(Buffet) is the same as most 4 Stars. Mosquitos are bad due to the jungle area ( take Deet) the restaurants (a la Carts) were great but there was a continued problem with guests travelling in large numbers, they wouldn't leave once finished eating, sometimes taking 3 hours for 16 people to clear out of a restaurant that didn't seem to hold many people. They wouldn't ask them to leave, & they ( the guest)were too selfish to wrap things up, it was super annoying. (They really need an enforced time limit, within reason) Staff was great, we had preferred club & room 106( best room in the place on the ground floor) preferred club does try to give you coupons that they say you can just pick up, but you can't .....it's a sales pitch of some kind, I told him I had 5 minutes, he said it would take much longer for him to give me free coupons& he wanted my husband there( you do the math). The Kids club is the Best thing ever, my 2 kids , 6 & 7years old.....had a wonderful time there, & they cried when our 8 days were up. Votte, Karla, Adriana,Gabriaella .....top notch girls. Tip them daily as it is 1st class babysitting , crafts and such. My biggest complaint was at the adult only pool, the staff was awesome, BUT there were a lot of teenagers taking up beds we pay for ! Parents were letting them take their beds, & they always seemed to be in the best beds. I was there 3 years ago & they always knew who was in there, this time they didn't seem to care ( I even complained at the preferred club). I can't stand paying for something that you don't get, Adults without teenagers, don't want teenagers at their pool, when they paid to use the adult only pool. Teenagers ruin an adult pool, I'd rather have little kids, at least they are happy!

This was our first time at the NOW Sapphire and we had a nice trip. The weather at the beginning of Dec is always hit and miss, nut even when it rained, the lobby bar had entertainment and great bar service! The rooms were nicely equipped, tipping your maid service goes a long way. The restaurants were all good, the food is nicely presented and plentiful. Try and go to the hibachi show at the Lemongrass. Very entertaining! The preferred lounge was a nice touch. Yummy snacks and treats. You could walk forever along the beach, yes there is seaweed but nothing you couldn't get around. Lots of chairs, palapas and towels. Never had a problem finding somewhere to sit. But be aware, the preferred pool has limited seating and Bali beds, and you must reserve them the day before. And don't be late claiming them or they give them away (trust me). Overall, we had a nice time at this resort. It's big enough to find things to do with plenty of choices for activities, food and bars. But it's also small enough to get around without issue.

I really can't find a fault with this resort other than the strong arm time share attack 10 minutes after arriving at the resort.. Loved the proximity to the airport.. The rooms were quite large.. The resort is set up perfectly. Restaurants and pool area on one side...sleeping on the other side.. food is delicious enjoyed the grille for lunch and we managed to try all the restaurants and loved them all.. We would not hesitate to recommend!! You won't be disappointed!!

Now Sapphire was terrific. The resort itself was beautiful and We felt safe at all times. The staff was very well trained - from check in to concierge to bar tenders to cleaning staff. You heard "It is my pleasure" all the time. The food was amazing - 5 star from buffet to any of the restaurants. A small resort but that is what we loved about it. We upgraded to an ocean view room and worth every penny! And only a 20 minute ride from the airport! We would go back in a heartbeat!

Bus Ride from the Airport is very quick, 20-30 minutes. Room 106, Our room was bottom corner beach front privilege room right next to the pool and volleyball was fun if you want something to always watch from your deck. The size of the room is very similar to the grand sunset or grand Riviera closer to Cozumel. One big difference is they do not have the cutout in the wall from the bathroom and the Jacuzzi is only on the balcony. The soap, shampoo and conditioner are ok. I would bring my own conditioner. They also give a full size hair dryer that they put in the closet, so no need to carry your own. The room does need a bit of an update but was pretty clean, air conditioner and fridge worked fine. I would have liked a ceiling fan more than the decorative drape on the ceiling. I loved that I could lay in my bed drink my coffee and see the ocean from that position. I loved the beach front room. While there I gave construction the idea to add stairs down the grass hill to the sand, it would look much better and be safer. They were starting by laying out pavers to see if I used them, when they noticed I did they came back to tell me something was in the works now. YEA! The Beach It has a lot of seaweed in the water and on the beach. A tractor comes along to clean it up constantly, which is great if you take a walk down the beach and see the resorts that don’t and its gross. The sand is white and soft but the water is more like in PV. I did swim and still enjoyed myself. Volleyball Well there are a father and son who were at the court every day like I have read in other reviews. According to security they have a time share in the resort. They were aggressive players and that encouraged that type of game. It was intimidating for guests that may just want a little fun and only play once in a while to have a second net up for the fun crowd not the ones who think they are going out for the Olympics. The Food I am not going to go on about the food but we all enjoyed it. I am a vegetarian and the rest of them ate meat and we ate well. I thought the room service menu was excellent and would have had all my breakfast and snacks out of my room. I would have liked to see a snack at the preferred pool like they do at the Grand Sunset/Princess it’s very convenient. The lunch time bbq was very nice but would always like a fish option along with the meats. They did a great BBQ chicken according to my fiancé. I loved the pretzels at the coffee shop. Walk to Puerto Morales It takes about 40 minutes and I would recommend you wear runners because you will encounter area of a lot of sea weed. You will also encounter a resort right on the beach with nude bathers. If you have kids I thought you may want that warning. I didn’t find anything in the little town worth staying and would have rather went into Cancun to do the beach and lunch afternoon. The beach is so much nicer in Cancun or closer to Playa del Carmen. The Staff I found the staff wonderful, friendly and willing to help in all situations. A special shout out to Hugo who gave great service and did a favor by finding me scissors to deal with some hair knots, thanks Hugo. Elizabeth at the spa gave me a great Pedi cure while helping me expand my Spanish, thanks Elizabeth. The entertainment team is very hard workers and always had a friendly smile.

My first time at this resort. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Very clean rooms/resort, great nightly entertainment. I am looking forward to going back in the next year or so. Highly recommended

Wonderful place to vacation, the service, food and experience was very good. The resort was in great condition and was well taken care of. Lots of things to do around the resort. We rented a car for a few days and visited some ruins and other attractions.
